What To Expect
Nubian Village
First our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or Nile cruise in Aswan to enjoy sailing on the Nile River for one hour with felucca (Nubian Sail Boat) then change to a motorboat which will take you to the Nubian Village beach to enjoy swimming in the Nile (optional) then to the Nubian village itself which is located on West Bank of the Nile River just opposite to Soheil Island and near the Aswan Dam,. There you meet and interact with a Nubian family and learn about their simple lifestyle, culture, language, traditions and their unique style of buildings with colorful decorations. Afterwards you'll be transferred back to your hotel or Nile cruise in Aswan.

5.00I had an amazing experience riding and swimming in the Nile, visiting the Nubian village, learning about the medicinal herbs and spices, petting a crocodile, and having a friendly chat with Omar! This experience exceeded my expectations and Omar was a great host! His knowledge and connection to the Nubian culture was very authentic. He went above and beyond with providing excellent hospitality. He felt more like a friend than a guide. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who would like to learn more about the Nubian culture from a trusted guide.

5.00We had an amazing experience thanks to Omar, who was truly one of the best guides we encountered in Egypt. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also kind and attentive. The tour gave us a genuine glimpse into the authentic life of the Nubian village, and we loved visiting a beautiful, untouched part of the Nile where you can even take a swim. We ended the afternoon with a peaceful felucca ride at sunset, absolutely magical and not to be missed. Highly recommended!

He was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty and history of the place. Thanks to him, we saw Aswan in the most authentic and insightful way. Every stop was meaningful, and his explanations brought everything to life. 5.00The guide was nice with a level of english good enough to understand everything he says, feluka ride was very calming and relaxing, Nubian Village is great, highly recommend 👍🏻 For Italians: the guide will take you to a spice seller who speaks good Italian and has good products. Even if you do not want to buy anything it is worth watching the show that puts in place to present the products. (Who cares also has smoke)

5.00My girlfriend and I had a great afternoon choosing this private tour. Sailing with the Felucca and driving with the motorboat through the beautiful landscape in the side rivers of the Nil and next to the Nubian villages was just nice. Omar explained to us the history and showed us the way of living of Nubian people. Omar is a very relaxed and experienced local guide who makes this trip very enjoyable.

5.00Mr. Omar is an amazing human who welcomed us, as a local, into the life of Nubian culture and life by the river Nile in Aswan. He patiently handled all our questions as he expertly guided us through the streets of the village and his community. We truly appreciated the opportunity to explore a Nubian house and the local markets. Additionally, and not to be underestimated, as part of the experience we enjoyed a most relaxing private cruise along the river Nile in a felluca, around sunset, with Omar's brother and a charming young lad working the lines as first mate. A magical evening!
