What To Expect
Tvindefossen is a waterfall near Voss on the road to Flåm. The many-stranded 110 meters high waterfall is formed by a small stream, the Kroelvi, tumbling over a receding cliff. It is famous for its beauty and many stop here to admire it.
Stalheim
The small village of Stalheim lies along the highway in the northeastern part of the Voss municipality. The village sits at a high point in the inner part of the Nærøydal valley which leads northeastwards towards the Nærøyfjorden. The Stalheimsfossen waterfall is the most notable sight in the area and the view from Stalheim hotel is well-known from several paintings.

5.00The guide, Ivan, who gave me and my wife the private tour was great. Much knowledge of Bergen and the places along the route. Very organized and ready to give us tips to enjoy the tour in a big way. What was offered was delivered to us without a doubt. It also helped that it was a spectacular and sunny day for us. We really liked Ivan, he even invented a Norwegian trivia that entertained us on the train ride back.
What a wonderful trip and day to finish up our vacation in Norway!

5.00Our guide! He was so knowledgeable about everything! Any question we asked, he was able to answer and we learned so much about Norway during this trip. He also managed to provide us access to the bridge on the Grand Sognefjord Cruise portion and that was such a treat to be able to go up and talk with the pilot. Breathtaking trip!

5.00The tour was fantastic. Stunning scenery via the ferry then again on the two trains. Arild was our tour guide. He shared his lifetime’s knowledge of Bergen, the waterways, terrain and history of the region in general. The Ferry was comfortable and offered a great way to view the fjords. The train from Flam to Myrdal was another gem. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking for a real representative slice of what Norway is all about. The train from Myrdal to Bergen was icing on the cake. A terrific adventure!
