• Amazing day in ancient Egypt

  We were very fortunate to jave Mustafa as our guide for the day. As an Egyptologist his knowledge and enthusiasm made it a special trip. Nothing was to much trouble. I would highly recommend him as a tour guide.

  Moustafa and his driver picked us up at our hotel and took us to GEM for an exciting morning at this wonderful new museum. We had a whirlwind visit of all the major exhibits. We loved Moustafa’s excitement and excellent knowledge of this fascinating land and all its history. For lunch, Moustafa took us to a not so secret hotel overlooking the Sphinx with its 9 surrounding pyramids, where we had a mixed grill on the roof view spot. We had such a fabulous view it was almost impossible to leave, but we did and our driver got us home without a scratch! A great day indeed.

  Moustafa is an amazing tour guide. His knowledge everything Egyptian is outstanding, as is his passion for sharing his knowledge. For him its not just about "looking at amazing things", he's also keen to impart an understanding so that you can appreciate what you are looking at. He's also adept at customising the tour to meet your personal desires, and his extensive knowledge means that he's able to suggest options that are beyond the standard and obvious tourist destinations.   Moustafa was truly the best guide I've ever had. He went above and beyond, starting with a phone call in which we discussed my interests and what I wanted to get out of the tour. He customized our say based on my interests, and confirmed our meeting point. While on the tour, he made himself available to answer any question I had - I am a curious person, I asked a lot, he didn't hesitate to answer. He's incredibly articulate, can get deep into the history (if you're interested), and share insights into how what society was like in different periods of time and how things have evolved to where we are today. He opened my eyes into seeing the world from a different perspective - I'm incredibly grateful. Safety was a top priority, he ensured I was safe and felt comfortable. He was always looking out for me as I negotiated in the market. I felt like I made a friend at the end of the tour. I did this tour solo while my friends were working - They all regret not joining me. 10/10 would go on another tour with Moustafa when I return to Egypt.

  If you’re coming to Egypt and want an unforgettable, smooth, and meaningful experience, book Moustafa. Our day with him was the highlight of our entire trip to Egypt. Moustafa is everything you’d hope for in a tour guide: deeply knowledgeable, endlessly passionate, incredibly friendly, and good-hearted with a good soul and sense of humor. From the first moment he picked us up (exactly on time), he made us feel comfortable and safe. His many years of experience shines through in every aspect of the day. One critical thing you must consider when choosing a guide is how much of accessing Egypt is about who you know. Getting to see the most memorable locations and avoiding scams and dangerous situations is not easy. But Moustafa really seems to know everyone, and they respect him - which meant we were welcomed and treated with kindness everywhere we went, just because we were with him. That kind of trust and connection makes a huge difference in visiting Egypt, and it’s rare. He also made sure to prioritize our safety at all times, which is of course the most important thing. He also knows exactly where to go for the most stunning photos (better than we could have imagined) and the best local food—and he’s transparent and respectful about pricing every step of the way. No bad surprises, just great experiences, based on what you want and how you feel. Beyond the logistics, Moustafa is an incredible storyteller.   Mustafa really made our visit to Cairo. Yes we could have done all this alone but with his guiding we saw so much more, understood things better, got more out of our visits and unlocked the city more easily. We spent 2 days with him one walking around Islamic Cairo. Going off the beaten track is often promised but rarely delivered - Mustafa genuinely took us into less touristed areas and taught us many fascinating facts which brought the surroundings to life. Day 2 he took us around the pyramids and his depth of knowledge as a highly qualified Egyptologist shone through. For me personally the success of my time with Mustafa was sealed by the places he took us to eat and recommended to us for the evenings. We are both adventurous but would never have discovered these places alone. I highly recommend time with Mustafa if you want to get the most from Cairo.

• Incredible Tour and Guide

  After reading Mostafas reviews, I reached out to plan an itinerary for a quickly thrown together trip to Cairo that I had always wanted to do. We connected in WhatsApp s few times and he ended up putting together a custom trip for us that I never could have planned on my own. What originally was going to just be a flight in, a cookie cutter Pyramids tour and visit to a few museums, turned into a private guided tour the whole day where we were able to ditch the tourist crowds a truly enjoy Egypt. We saw the pyramids from a side without a tour bus in sight, visited local markets and tried delicious traditional Egyptian food, and most importantly, were never more than a few steps away from Mostafa who was able to explain everything in great detail. He also was able to organize a full day tour for us of Luxor, which was an unforgettable experience as well. From start to finish from the first time we talked on the phone to when we said goodbye to us on the train (yes, he even sat at the train station with us and made sure we got on safely), Mostafa was the perfect guide. Now I truly feel like i have a local friend and would definitely reach out to him if/when I visit Egypt again.

  What a great tour full of historical and fun facts. I truly felt immersed in Egyptian culture. The first time I saw a pyramid I was so amazed, and Moustafa knows the best places to get photos without anyone in them, including a camel ride with unobstructed panoramic views of the pyramids. His wealth of information added so much depth and excitement to the experience. The sphinx was also great to see, and of course I got a photo with no one else in it. Learning about papyrus was very interesting. Then we had a traditional Egyptian lunch while on a beautiful felucca sailing trip on the Nile, absolutely stunning views and delicious food. We explored the Khan Khalili market with more shared history. Moustafa is very well connected and ensured a very smooth and comfortable experience from start to finish. I can’t wait to return and learn more from him, and I would recommend 100% any one looking for a full package experience not to hesitate booking with Moustafa!
