  As a travel advisor, I like to personally experience services before recommending them to my clients. I had heard great things about Joe Bananas and decided to test them during our recent trip to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. From the start, their team was incredibly responsive to my booking requests and questions, which made the entire planning process seamless. We booked three services: a private transfer from Naples Airport to Sorrento with a guided stop in Pompeii, a full-day Amalfi Coast tour (Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello), and a private transfer to the Naples train station. Our driver, Giulio, was outstanding. He greeted us each day with a warm smile and immediately put us at ease. Being from Sorrento, he shared great local insight, answered all of our questions, and offered excellent recommendations along the way. My husband and daughter both commented that riding with Giulio felt like spending time with a good friend, which says everything. Most importantly, we felt completely comfortable with his driving, even on the narrow and busy Amalfi Coast roads. His professionalism and consistency made every part of the experience seamless.   We utilized Joe Banana Limos & Travel for three different experiences over the last week: Transfer from Naples airport to Sorrento hotel: Pasquale was our driver and he was excellent. Very kind and professional. As we had just arrived, he made sure to take the scenic route and provided wonderful details of each of the towns we passed. All-inclusive tour to Pompeii, vineyard, and Mt Vesuvius: Julio was our driver. He was also very friendly and professional. He took us first to Pompeii where he handed us over to Paolo, our very entertaining and knowledgeable tour guide for two hours. Julio then drove us to a beautiful vineyard for lunch and wine tasting, both of which were excellent. Our last stop was at the entrance to hike the last 600 m of Mt. Vesuvius. We arrived just in time (in March, the last entry is at 4 pm so make sure you try to get there at least an hour before the final entry time, which varies by time of year, so you don’t feel rushed on the mountain). Shout out to Rafael, a kind gentleman who works on Mt Vesuvius, for offering us a ride most of the way up the last 600 m so we would have enough time to enjoy the views. Overall, it was an amazing, memorable day. Transfer from Sorrento hotel to Naples hotel: Ferdinando was our driver this time and, of the three drivers, he had been with Joe Banana the longest. He was also amazing and provided abundant recommendations for our stay in Naples. All three drivers were exceptional, made the curvy roads as smooth as humanly possible, and were delightful. The cars were immaculate. Maria (in the office) provided exceptional, prompt communication and follow-up. This is a well-run business and all three drivers seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs, their customers, and working for Joe Banana.

  Absolutely AMAZING day!! Daniello made this day the greatest day of our vacation! Daniello met us in the lobby of our hotel to start the day. He was so friendly and funny! The van was súper confortable and clean. Daniello made sure with us on the plan for the day, gave us options for the lunch plan and was super flexible with how we wanted the day to go. First stop was Pompei, which was so fascinating!! Our tour guide here was Francesca, who was also AMAZING! Then onto Sorrento for a lunch with a VIEW - wow, shopping and exploring Sorrento and then onto Positano!! Daniello put some personal touches on the day which surprised us in the best way possible. Truly, today was the best. It’s clear this company, Joe Banana is top notch who has the most experienced guides that have passion and truly care about providing the best experience for their customers.   Ferdi was our driver and we experienced exceptional service throughout our ride, from start to finish! He was early and welcomed us professionally and the car was magnificent; the ride was smooth and seamless. He was a terrific resource for local food and sights. You are bananas if you do not book with Joe Bananas!

  We had the most wonderful experience with Joe Banana. We secured a total of 4 private transfers and 2 private tours. The drivers, skipper, and tour guide were great. Thank you to the members of Joe Banana who enhanced our vacation in Italy. These were our fantastic drivers: Roberto T Gennaro Pasquale Ferdinando Giulio S Vincenzo We also went on the Capri tour. Thank you to our skipper Antonio. He prepared a few drinks along the tour, stopped for some great pictures, and worked in swim time at our leisure. He offered to make us reservations at a local restaurant (we declined as we had other plans), and he organized the water taxi to take us from his boat to the island. It was a really relaxing boat ride and day. He was a great skipper. And we took the Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius, Wine tasting tour. We opted for the private tour guide in Pompeii for an additional 160 euros, and it was worth it. Strolling around on our own would have been fun, but having a knowledgeable guide take us to some of the really special homes and learn the history was a huge advantage. Thank you to our tour guide Andrew. He had his preferred spots to show us but was also amenable when we wanted to slow down and ask about other areas. A very, very special thank you to our Guest Ambassador Nunzia S. I asked so many questions during our planning, and she was enormously patient and answered each question I had with clear communication and efficiency. Her patience and professionalism was a big reason why we scheduled all our transfer and tour needs with Joe Banana. We really appreciated how organized and seamless each transfer was. We would definitely, definitely use Joe Banana in the future. Grazie mille. Soo.

  Excellent Service, we had Catello pick us up and drive us to Naples with a stop at Pompei. He was an excellent driver, very friendly and giving us a lot of insight into the area. Overall excellent experience and would book again.

• Sorrento - Peace of Mind

  Pricey but well worth it! The communication from the time of booking was quick and clearly stated. The driver Giulio was a class act - what a relief it was to see him at the Naples train station holding a sign with my name! Impeccable vehicle with AC and ice water waiting for us. I spoke of being excited to eat granita and he actually stopped on the way to our Sorrento hotel to buy some for us and to take some scenic pics. He also made sure to be promptly at our hotel at 5:30 am for our return transfer - this time to the Naples airport. I will most definitely book with Joe Banana and request Giulio on my future returns to Sorrento!

  Seamless private transfer with Ferdi from Sorrento to Naples on Friday morning with a great 2 hour stop at Pompeii. No time lost, no need to worry about luggage, one of the best decisions of the trip. Ferdi is very friendly. Also the very nice (and COOL) car was great after the Pompei heat. Thank you!!!
