What To Expect
Bragernes Kirke
Bragernes Torg, located near the main square and the city bridge was finished in 1871. The church is in the neo-Gothic style that was fashionable at the time, and its choir is oriented to the north rather than the east, as is the tradition. Its tower is 64 meters high and is set off by the Skansen ridge behind. On the inside, there’s work like the altarpiece painted with an image of the Resurrection by the Romantic Nationalist artist Adolph Tidemand. The stop is for 2 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.
