This rate includes bottled water per person; a professional driver will take you to your next hotel. The trip lasts 5 hours (time varies depending on traffic). Drivers do not speak English. Once you meet him in the parking lot he will take you to the vehicle and the next destination will be your hotel. There is one optional stop before passing Barranquilla where you can stretch your legs, drink a cup of coffee and go to the toilette. There is also the possibility to stop for lunch in case you need it.

What To Expect

After booking the transportation service with us, one of our team will contact you in order to confirm every detail so that everything is clear for our driver when meeting with you. On the travel date, at the requested hour, our driver will be waiting for you in Minca's parking lot, the one which is next to the French bakery "La Miga". Once you meet him, he will help you with your luggage. Inside the vehicle, you will find some bottled water for you. After 2 hours drive, there is an optional 15-minutes stop before passing Barranquilla, here you will be able to go to the bathroom, stretch your legs or buy yourself a cup of coffee. Please, let our driver know if you would like to stop or if you decided just to go directly to your next hotel. Depending on your departing hour, our driver is told to stop at a restaurant and wait for you to lunch. No hurries, our driver will wait as long as it takes so that you have a pleasant meal, please be aware, we do not include lunch in the final price, remember to bring enough cash or your credit card in order to pay for your lunch. Finally, our driver will leave you at the front door of your hotel in Cartagena. Please take into account that there are some hotels streets where it is not possible for the vehicle to transit.

I cannot recommend Bukap travel enough! From my initial contact with Santiago I knew that everything would go so smoothly, the company was such a dream to deal with- such a refreshing experience of efficiency and professionalism in Colombia! They went above and beyond to accommodate us, our driver was on time and made our trip an absolute pleasure. From the time of making the booking I experienced a high level of communication. I didn’t have to worry about anything or question anything My driver was very competent and drove well and friendly in an unobtrusive way. We made one stop at a nice service station on the way and made it to Cartagena in approximately four hours. Overall I’m glad I took this option, for me I felt it was a choice and worth the price.

Excellent service and communication throughout. Hader our driver from Minca to Cartagena was lovely and my partner was chatting to him the whole ride. He got us to Cartagena in 4 hours! We had a quick pit stop to get snacks also which was handy.
