The king summer palace consists of many royal buildings built in many contrasting architectural styles; predominantly - Thai, Chinese, Italian and Victorian on the reign of King Prasat thong (B.E. 2175)
Wat Yai Chaya Mongkol
Important historical temple which you can see it's giant Pagodas, built to celebrate the King's single-handed victory on elephant back, in a battle during the time Ayutthaya was the capital of Thailand. Don't miss to respect the outdoor sacred big reclining Buddha.

5.00It's too much fun to go to Ayutthaya this time! Not only did you visit the historic temple, but you also took a boat tour of the Chao Phraya River to enjoy the coastal scenery. The buffet for lunch was also great and tasted authentic Thai cuisine. I was impressed by Ayutthaya's monuments, especially the Temple of the Reclining Buddha and the ruins of the Royal Palace. It's very relaxing to see the nature and life of the locals on both sides of the Chao Phraya River when you visit by boat.
