Thank you very much Tony for making my dream true. Our udawalswe safari was amazing thanks to our guide Tony. We can't believe how lucky we were to see more than 20 elephants during our 3 hours private safari

Easily the best tour we’ve done in Sri Lanka. Our guide Dom spoke impeccable English and was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and nature of the country. He happily answered every question we put to him and he helped us fall even more in love with Sri Lanka which we didn’t think possible. The baby elephants were well cared for and the ranger at the safari park knew exactly where to go and showed us everything we could have wished for. This really was the best day out on every level and we cannot recommend this enough. (We did a separate trip to Ella with a different tour company and Tony’s tours were by far superior).

This trip was the highlight of our holiday. The guide was awesome and his knowledge was second to none. The 2.5 car journey there was great as we saw so many local villages etc. When we arrived for the first part of our tour we where led to a circle seated area where we were advised to wait at 2.30pm the wardens opened the gates from the reserve and all the orphaned elephant came for their milk. It was the most amazing sight ever. We then started the 2hour safari tour in the reserve which was amazing, we saw a wild elephant with her 5month old calf. We saw wild herds, crocodiles, buffaloes, red jackals, monkeys and loads of native birds. This trip is suitable for all ages and as long as you can climb onto the jeep then this is trip for all abilities.

We saw Eagles, Peacocks and the real stars - Elephants. My son and I were in a jeep and we had an awesome experience. The elephants were hardly 10 feet away from us. They were tame; we never felt scared to be so close.

What an amazing day - being as close as you can get to wild elephants, having a riverside lunch below a canopy of monkeys and excellent guides ( Thakshila and Danika) and service throughout the day. This was definitely one ticked off the bucket list - thanks Tony & team!

Our first trip was for two days and included a private jeep safari in the Udawalawe National Park followed by a train ride from Ella to Nuwara Eliya on the second day. Everything about it was superb. Our guide Roshan and our driver Sumith both worked really hard to create memorable experiences for us. Roshan’s passion and knowledge about his home country was truly inspiring and we learnt so much. We walked up to Little Adam’s Peak, rode a tuk tuk to the nine-arch bridge, toured the tea plantation and did so many different things, but the early morning safari and the train ride through the amazing scenery in the heart of Sri Lanka on the second day were undoubtedly highlights and we’ll remember them for a long time to come. Later in the week Roshan joined us again for the Madu River safari. Another great trip! The Buddhist temple and Cinnamon Island were really interesting and then we managed to squeeze in a visit to the Galbokka turtle hatchery. A fascinating experience – really impressed by their attitude and knowledge about the turtles and the work they do there. We are so glad we discovered Tony’s Tours and booked with them. The communication, attention to detail and professionalism are the best we’ve experienced… and a big thank you to Roshan and Sumith for everything…
