Volubilis
Volubilis is the vestige of a Roman city built on the former site of a Punic-Berber city, which was the capital of the kingdom of Mauretania, located in the Saïss plain, in the north of Morocco, on the edge of the wadi Rhoumane, a river in the suburbs of Meknes. It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Chefchaouen
After visititing Volubilis we will drive 2 hours and 30 minutes to Chefchaouen, or Chaouen, is a city in the Rif Mountains of northwest Morocco. It’s known for the striking, blue-washed buildings of its old town. Leather and weaving workshops line its steep cobbled lanes. In the shady main square of Place Outa el Hammam is the red-walled Kasbah, a 15th-century fortress and dungeon, and Chefchouen Ethnographic Museum. The octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque rises nearby. Drop your luggage and start explporing the beauty of this wonderfu city.

5.00I travelled with my wife from Fez to Tangier via Chefchaouen … the driver ( Badr ) proactively communicated with me by WhatsApp 2 days ahead of the journey to confirm .. he was on time at my pickup hotel .. the van was very comfortable and his driving skill were excellent and safe.. we enjoyed the ride all through .. we had 2.5 hours stop at Chefchaouen and he was flexible to make us have our time around the old blue city and had lunch there … then we headed to Tangier … in between we had a couple of stops to have a coffee and use bathrooms … the trip was very satisfying and I recommend it for anyone
