Perfect Intro to Champagne

5.00Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable having grown up in the area and was able to share a lot of information about the Champagne region. We enjoyed the intimate tour that was shorter than other tour offerings. This allowed us to take advantage of our short stay in Reims. Lastly, we were able to connect one-on-one with a local Champagne producer who knew the whole process and took pride in his product.

5.00This was the most unique experience in Champagne. There truly is no other tour like it! First we took a lovely drive out to the countryside and to a beautiful little village. Then we walked amongst the vines where Frederica explained about the vines and grapes and soil and how they are all important with the climate to make great champagne. Then we went to the work shop which was so unique and informative I loved it. I tasted 3 unique wines and wrote down my impression of each and characteristics and then we smelled two different perfumes she worked with a parfumerie to produce and compared those characteristics with that of the wine. She was an amazing host and so generous with her time and knowledge having been involved in the champagne business her whole life she had such a great knowledge and experience to share and I really learned a lot! It was so a lovely afternoon activity in a lovely setting. I highly recommend this tour it was my highlight of my visit to champagne
