What To Expect

Wadi Shab
Begin with a short boat ride followed by a moderate hike through beautiful canyon scenery. At the end of the trail, travelers can swim into a cave with a hidden waterfall. This is the highlight of the tour.

5.00We booked a private tour to the amazing Wadi Shab, with Said but I had a last-minute work commitment so only my partner joined the tour. She came back saying it was one of the highlights of our time in Oman. Said’s local knowledge really stood out, from timing to avoid the crowds to interesting insights into the landscape, history and culture. The tour also included an enjoyable visit to Bimmah Sinkhole, which he made more engaging with context and practical tips rather than just a quick photo stop. We truly appreciated that Said balanced his Ramadan obligations while providing strong support throughout the day, with smooth transport, engaging conversations, clear guidance on the hike and swim, and practical safety advice. Overall the experience was very good and we would happily recommend Said as a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and committed guide for Wadi Shab, Bimmah Sinkhole and the surrounding areas in Oman.

5.00We visited Wadi Shab with Two Brothers Adventures, and I truly appreciate the excellent support and well-planned itinerary provided by the team. We interacted with Said and Ahmed, and the hospitality shown by both of them was outstanding. Ahmed, our tour coordinator, was punctual in picking us up from the hotel and ensured we reached the destination early, before the crowds arrived. To reach the waterfalls inside the cave at Wadi Shab, swimming is required. In some areas the water is shallow, while in others it is quite deep. Since I am not a swimmer, I was initially nervous, but life jackets were provided. In the deeper sections, Ahmed stayed by my side the entire time, offering constant help and support, making sure I felt safe throughout the experience. After the activity, Ahmed took us to a wonderful hotel where we enjoyed delicious Indian food. We were dropped back at our hotel on time, ending the day on a perfect note. I highly recommend Two Brothers Adventures to anyone planning a trip to Oman. Plan your tour with them and enjoy a fantastic experience in this beautiful country.

5.00Chose Said to accompany me to Wadi Shab (a) because I had a wonderful experience with him as a tour guide around Muscat and (b) because as a local of Tiwi / Wadi Shab he knows the little tips & tricks (when to go to avoid the busy crowds, where to step in the lakes so as not to slip, where to spot the gazelles on the road & tips on the best yemeni chicken&rice spot). Do not hesitate to book for a second.
