What To Expect
Pula Amphitheatre or Arena is one of the largest Roman amphitheaters in the world. Erected in the 1st AD during the reign of Emperor Vespasian, it was primarily used for gladiator fights in front of 23,000 spectators. The largest ancient building in Istria is open for sightseeing during the day and becomes a perfect place for pop rock concerts, operas and ballets in nighttime, as well as the film festival with more than 60 yeas of tradition.

5.00Nada was such a great tour guide of the Pula Amphitheatre! She was so knowledgeable and friendly and fun! And communicative, too - very easy to find her and start our tour! An hour with Nada at the Amphitheatre was perfect, because I know we got so much more out of the experience than we would have if we had walked around on our own! If you're stopping in Pula, I highly recommend this tour with Nada! You'll learn a lot, laugh a lot, and appreciate Pula's history!

She kept us on our toes by asking great questions while providing a wealth of information about Pula, the Amphitheater, Istria, the Venetians and the wars of the 20th century.
