I was lucky to spend 12 hours with Otto driving and hiking through the Southern Highlands. It was my second day ever in Iceland and it was an unforgettable experience. Otto packed us some wonderful snacks and lunch of delicious icelandic breads and meats and fish and off we went. He was engaging, knowledgable and very good at gauging my abilities to trek through interesting terrain. We covered a lot of ground and were greeted with great weather. Otto is charming, funny and knowledgeable and has a gentle but fierce spirit.
