This is a full day 8-hour private tour to Terra Cotta Warriors and 2 city attractions of your choice. Private guide and driver with whole day transfer are all included, except for entrance tickets and lunch.

Meet your private guide and driver at your request time in your hotel lobby or Airport exit according to your booking. Explore the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum for about 2.5 ~3 hours according to your pace and after lunch, you will visit two more city attractions. You will be dropped off at your hotel or airport at the end based on your booking option.

Lunch is flexible and available after Terracotta tour, your private guide will take you to anthentic local restaurant if you need.

What To Expect

The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses

Your private guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby around 08:30 or you request time, one hour drive to Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, around 3 hours enjoyable visit to museum pit 1, pit 2, pit 3 and Bronze Chariots all exhibition without any tourist factory stop. You will have local restaurant lunch before one hour drive back Xi’an downtown for 2 optional city attractions. Your guide and driver will drive you back hotel at end of this whole day tour.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta)

Your first option is to visit Big Wild Goose Pogoda which is considered as one of the Xi'an History landmarks, Great Tang dynasty culture relics temple. Your private guide will tell you why the pogoda is leaning, what is the Buddhist philosophy, how is today China religion condition. A lot of monks and believers stay out in the yard if your visit time is the chanting day.

Amazing day seeing Terracotta Army, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Xi’an city wall

We highly recommend this tour! We had Grace as our tour guide who spoke amazing English, and Mr Chow was our driver. We were picked up at the time agreed from our hotel, both Grace and Mr Chow were very welcoming and friendly. We were taken first to the Terracotta Army pits and museum, this was absolutely fantastic and stunning, definitely a must do when visiting Xi’an. Mr Chow dropped us off and Grace took us on a tour through the pits and museum, Grace was extremely knowledgable she knew the extensive history and was able to answer any questions we had. Once finished Mr Chow picked us up and we had the choice of a traditional Chinese lunch or a more western lunch. We decided on a Chinese lunch. Grace was extremely helpful and attentive, especially for my self with severe food allergies she made the whole process easy and minimal stress. After lunch we choose as our two options the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Xi’an city wall. Grace was amazing, again extremely knowledgable in both places and we learnt so much from this tour. Mr Chow picked us up and dropped us off for every part of the tour, he was very polite and welcoming the car was very clean and had air conditioning. A massive thank you to Grace and Mr Chow, next time we’re back we will definitely book another tour with you!

We spent a full day with Delphine: morning visit to the magnificent buried army archaeological site of Terra cotta, a delicious lunch at lunch (great traditional pasta of Xi’An) and an afternoon visit to Xi’An (including the great pagoda of wild goose, the mosque). Delphine was particularly invested in the way she guided us, told us the history of the places visited in a very interesting way and ensured our comfort. Extremely friendly and warm, she really made sure we had a truly memorable day. Thank you very much Delphine for this beautiful day and very good continuation!

Had a lovely day visiting the terracotta warriors, wild goose pagoda, and city walls of Xi’an. We were picked up from our hotel. Our tour guide Richard was very pleasant, had excellent English and was quite knowledgable about all the sites we went to visit so we learned quite a lot from him, not just the sites but Chinese history and culture in general. Organising final details with Cindy was a pleasure and like I said Richard was a great guy, the day passed by all too quickly seeing all the sites!
