Starting off with a moderate 20 mins hike thru the rainforest. Travellers will enter into the underworld of the Maya cave system (XIBALBA) in which will do so by sitting on our Tubes and Float thru the Sibun River. A one of a kind tour to enjoy the flora of Belize while Exploring Beautiful stalagmites and stalactites in a fun filled manner. We also get to see fruits eating bats and take pictures of the caves and miniture waterfall area . After exciting the caves indulge your desired by swimming in the crisp blue/green open river a wonderful experience. Not to mention all this while having great conversations about Belize with your 5 Star Guide. 3.00For the cost that was paid it was a little on the lacking side. We had a private guide, but at the end of the day felt rushed. We seemed to unnecessarily be racing from place to place. Vehicle was in very poor condition.

1.00DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! We made an online reservation for 2 far in advance for a private tour with zip lining and cave tubing. We were so excited for this. However, from the very beginning it was a complete mess. We came to terminal 1 as instructed, but it was so chaotic with long lines and no clear signs. The Shore Excursion's directions were bad!! We could not get in hold of anyone associated with the excursion. Noone was familiar with the organizer of the excursion; instead, all the other companied tried to sell us their own excursion. Eventually one of the tour guides told us he can take us to the River/Jungle, and we can look for the excursion there. We asked him how much it costs to get there, and he said $35 per person. The way he was trying to come up with the price was like it was his first day on job, totally unaware of how much to charge. In general, this was the common theme there. Next time, we are staying on the ship. We contacted the excursion company numerous times (at least 10 times), but they said, they will not refund us any money.

5.00Beware of having too great of a time especially if you have Brian as a guide. Not only is he good looking but he is also funnier than heck and full of knowledge. We started out stopping to try some cashew fruit before heading to the temples. We then had an hour ride to zip line before having a delicious lunch! While im not vegetarian they still provided an option for those who are :) The cave tubing was not far from there and again Brian aside from his knowledge has us laughing so much my torso and face feels the repercussions today (the next day). 12/10 recommend and also would request Brian if possible as he truly made this an experience of a lifetime.

5.00To start off our guide Jerry was amazing. Very insightful on the drive out to the sites, and really informative when there. He was very accommodating to different speeds getting to the caves, as well as around the ruins. The whole experience was amazing, and at the price of doing the private vs the group, so very worth it. Oh, and the tamales provided for lunch were out of this world.

5.00Kenton from 5Star was a fine guide. He was polite and thoughtful, explained the history of the ruins well, and managed the other events professionally. We would use 5Star again.
