What do you need to see in Cologne? The cathedral for sure! But what else? Well, the brewhouse culture here is very important for the Cologne people and it gives you a deep impression of the mentality, the humor and the daily life of our city! We would love to take you on a tour through our brewhouses, show you different spots that you might just have passed and tell you funny and interesting stories about our city, the beer and our legends.
There is no minimum group size, so we do not cancel a tour in the last minute if it is not full - unlike other companies! Join us on our brewhouse tour!

Here we start our tour! Learn the rules of the brewhouses, discover what is so special about the breweries and follow the steps of a former U.S. president!
Here we probably have our second stop and discover the secrets of the oldest brewhouse basement in Cologne!

5.00Alisha was a great guide and knew a lot of history of the four places we went. I was glad for the knowledge on the culture of the beer and Köbes (servers) that I would never have known if I’d gone on my own. Super friendly, I’d highly recommend this tour!

5.00My wife and I had a fantastic time. Chris has amazing beer knowledge and real life experience. He took us to iconic beer halls in the heart of town. He kept us laughing with his great sense of humor. We highly recommend this tour.

2.00We were hoping for a more informative trip! In reality we were taken to 3 bars and bought ourselves a drink in each, with minimal information about the breweries or the Altstadt. We should have visited 4 bars but Newcastle United’s Toon Army blocked our path…. but no alternative was suggested! Our guide was a lovely man ….. but didn’t really impart much more than basic Kölsch-drinking etiquette and a brief explanation of the history of Köbers. Our evening was rescued by the lovely company of our fellow group-members!

5.00Devis was a great guide and was accommodating to my mom’s slower walking speed. We all had such a fun time! You pay as a group, so be sure to have some €2 and €0.50 pieces. We had four in our group so a €10 bill worked for each place.
