Monkey Home Puerto Plata
Monkey Interaction: This takes place in a designated area where the monkeys are accustomed to human contact. You will be given fruit to offer them, and you can expect them to jump onto your shoulders and head. Birdwatching: In some experiences, you can also feed parakeets at a farm and plantation. 5.00Mr Virjilio was our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable and answered our questions with joy and enthusiasm. He was on time and offered a very relaxed and efficient tour. He offered to take us later than our arranged time to avoid the crowds from the cruise ships and we got there with no waiting to see the farm. We saw tropical birds, tortoises, guinea pigs and many plants. The guides at the farm were fun and friendly and shared knowledge about their crops. Then, we tasted coffee or hot chocolate and saw how tobacco is made into cigars. And then, the squirrel monkeys! Chander and his lovely coworker (his named has escaped me!) were fun and gave us all a chance to meet the monkeys. The monkeys were fun, energetic, well cared for and it was a beautiful trip! I highly recommend this trip with Edwin tours!! Thank you!
