  Gorgeous day in the sun for mangrove tour, zip lining, and underground river tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He shared history and gave us some recommendations about PPS. We enjoyed the mangrove tour as it was educational and relaxing. Even got to see some wildlife like monkeys and lizards. The guide even sung to us a song about the mangroves. We added on ziplining, which was such a great view zipping across the clear blue waters! Glad we did it. The underground river tour exceeded expectations. It was educational and fun. I appreciate how they try to preserve nature like having audio guide to keep quiet and listen, as well as no lights in the caves. Our guide used a flash light to help navigate through the incredible caves. I thought the audio was corny funny, and made me giggle. Some notes of constructive feedback: 1). It would be nice to know itinerary and timing. Like how much time we have for zip lining and what time we need to be back on bus. Felt a bit disorganized. 2). Our guide wasn’t with us entire time as he was also concurrently with a second group doing double duty that day. 3). The van after last activity (underground river) was extremely hot as the AC wasn’t fully kicked on so we were sweating for a little while on our way back on windy road home. 4). We were first pick up and also last drop off, which particularly made for a long day for me as it was a full bus with multiple drop offs. 5). Driver was a great driver but was on phone on the way home on windy road, which was distracting. Overall, a fun day in the sun exploring and learning! We met some nice travelers as well and was able to take each others photos.

• Underground River and Mangrove Tour

  The Underground River Tour is a must for anyone visiting Puerto Princesa. The Underground River was unlike any other experience I’ve had, from the turquoise blue water, to the stalagmites/ stalactites, to the bats hanging from the ceiling. My partner and I also did the mangrove tour, which was a good add-on. We learned some scientific facts about the mangroves, like how they protect the ecosystem from tsunamis, and about the animals that live amongst them. Prepare for about a 2 hour ride from Puerto Princesa city center to the jumping off point. It’s a long day, but the activities are fun, the lunch is filling, and the tour guides give you time to explore a little bit.

  Echo was a great tour guide. He’s friendly and easy to talk to and I’d love to have him as a guide on another tour. The two stars are mainly because of how great he was. Unfortunately this was not my favorite activity. I was solo and I ended up with someone who talked the entire time during the underground river tour (despite being told to be silent multiple times)- I couldn’t hear my own audio. The underground river tour was cool but I would’ve liked it better if allowed to sit in quiet and listen to the audio. The person next to me was a blogger and announced that - I don’t think I should need to sit with him because I was solo. It ruined the experience for me.

  A very enjoyable tour to visit the underground river in Puerta Princessa. Our guide Benj was excellent and good fun. We really enjoyed the paddle boat through the Mangroves but wished we could have had less talking and more quiet to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Lunch was very good.

  It was such a lovely trip from the guide to the activities. I think it worked well because we were also a smaller group. As a vegetarian, I loved that there was an option for me. I enjoyed sights from the hotel and back.

  An excellent day out, first seeing the impressive underground river, then a good lunch, followed by the amazing Sabang zipline. Things to note - wear shoes and clothes that can handle getting wet, since we ended up wading to get to and from boats. There's some waiting around for the boat to get out to the river, so be prepared for that. The zipline has a short climb through the forests.

  Great tour! The guide is nice. The transportation arrangements after tour is really bad. Driver took more than one hour late than expected and with no clear communication for the update of status. Very frustrating. The van is overloaded and not safe. The driver keep look at the phone and talking and texting while driving

  We had a wonderful experience on the Underground River tour in Puerto Princesa. Everything was very well organised from start to finish. Our tour guide, Mario, was excellent — very knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. He explained the sights clearly and made the whole experience enjoyable and informative. Special thanks to Jave, the coordinator, who was truly awesome. The arrangements were seamless, responses were very fast, and everything was handled efficiently, making the tour completely stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Puerto Princesa and planning to explore the Underground River! 🌿🚤

  Visiting the Puerto Princesa Underground River was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. The cave itself is stunning, and I really appreciated the audio guide, which provided helpful history and interesting facts throughout the experience. It truly enhanced the tour. One important heads-up: if you plan on doing the zipline, be prepared for a challenging hike. The trail is very steep, rocky, and involves a lot of uphill and downhill walking. We were lucky to have beautiful weather, but I can’t imagine doing that hike in extreme heat. Proper shoes and a good level of fitness are a must. The guides were nice, friendly, and helpful throughout the day. Overall, this was a great experience and well worth doing, just be sure to come prepared for the physical portions of the tour.
