Elmer is a lovely, knowledgeable guide with a good sense of humor and a sensitivity to our needs. We saw sloths, monkeys, herons, spiders and learned about Puerto Viejo culture

A super nice experience, with the help of binoculars and the mini telescope, you see up close all the sloths The road is in silver covered by trees so you don't get hit by the sun and heat Elmer was a great guide with great ability to see lazy at a long distance I highly recommend this activity

An interesting tour on the beach of Puerto Viejo. If I had walked the route alone, I probably wouldn't have seen a single sloth. My guide spotted every animal, no matter how well camouflaged, in treetops and branches with the naked eye, no matter how far away. Unbelievable! He had a lot of interesting information about the animals we saw. A worthwhile tour.

Amazing experience, we saw around 15 sloths and even a mother and baby. It was so surreal and would be really hard to spot if it wasn’t for our expert guide Elmer

We had a great beach walking tour in Puerto Viejo with our guide Lynch. Our son is sloth obsessed and Lynch helped us find 15 sloths on our 2 hour tour. It was incredible. We really appreciated all the information he gave us about Puerto Viejo and the biodiversity of the area. I would give six stars if I could!

This is the perfect activity to do when you arrive in the Puerto Viejo area. Our guide, Esteban was amazing. He spent over 2 hours with us on the most beautiful trail amid the jungled beach. He educated us about the abundant flora and fauna, as well as the history of the area. This was the perfect activity for our first day in Puerto Viejo, but it is a great opportunity at any time in your stay there!

We saw lots of sloths and put his tips into action the very next day and spotted our own. On our walk we came across and anteater and howler monkeys.
