Overall, the walking tour was quite good. It took a while to download the tour from our cruise ship since the internet access was not working very well, but that was our problem, not the actual tour. Besides that, there were parts of the tour where we couldn't see what was being explained, but the direction arrow in the tour app was helpful to see which way we had to turn so that was great. The descriptions explaining what we were seeing were very informative and thorough. Thanks!

I guess I would say this felt more like a scavenger hunt wandering around the village looking for stone carvings than a walking tour. There was some useful information provided and given the low cost it was worthwhile. Technical feedback: The verbal directions were often vague and not very helpful in finding the next tour stop. The map was also not as helpful as it could be, with not very accurate GPS positioning. I spent a lot of time wandering around trying to find the next stop. The app ate my cell phone battery from 80% to shutdown in 90 minutes. Recommend bringing a battery pack to recharge.

The audio was well done and helpful. The maps could have been a bit more user-friendly, as the space they occupied was tiny on a cell phone and did not stay enlarged when expanded. But we found the turn by turn directions and the commentary very helpful in understanding the town. Well done!

Total failure. Second point (visitor center) did not exist. Started over. Same thing. Tried to go to third point but could not get the app to advance past the second point. We used the map to walk on our own with no audio or description of points. At one point map takes a side path to a stone carving, then leads to a rocky incline we would have had to scramble up to get to the road above. We have taken other Viator tours that worked out OK. This audio walking tour was a failure.

Didn't work. Perhaps location too remote. Had downloaded on both our phones. We had cell service. Ended up hiring a guide instead.

The walking tour thru Viator was a little difficult to get set up, but the person we spoke with at WalknTours was a very big help in getting this tour downloaded and ready to go. When we got to Qaqortoq, my wife and I found the directions somewhat confusing. After about 30 minutes of trying to follow the directions without much success, my wife needed to go back to the ship. I started from the beginning again, was somewhat successful for a little while, but still got lost because the specific street signs were not always mentioned. I found the hotel after I asked someone. I thought I was going in the right direction after that, but I wasn't and only found the next stop because I had passed it earlier! I then had to leave. There were very nice details at each stop, but I just couldn't find them all in time and listened to the virtual tour again when I got back to the ship

Won’t allow for pictures to be taken without audio stopping. Had some good info. It wasn’t real expensive so it was okay

This is worthless. I was not able to get this to work for the entire 4 hours that I was in Qaqortoq.

This walking app took me around the town to the sites of particular interest with stories. The walking pace was at my own pace and the app could tell when I was approaching the site. I liked that the app would keep me entertained on the way next to the site so I wouldn’t be standing at the site listening to a long narration. There’s a map in the app and I could switch to either the Apple or google map function. I did get lost a few times but that’s on me. The app did stop a few times and I had to start it again but it was good about starting at my location. Using the app was so much better than just going off on my own as I learned about the people and the monuments.
