This was a family trip with 5 of us - 4 elderly and 1 adult... Returning from a trip to Russia as a stopover. Judy was prompt and responsive in arranging the tour before and during the trip. Contactable via email l, WhatsApp and fluent in both English and Mandarin. The tour guide was also knowledgeable and responsive in guiding us around Qingdao. We didn't need an English guide as we could all speak Mandarin. There was a blip in the transport as the vehicle was a bit small for 5 of us and the elderlies couldnt stretch their legs, but it was quickly fixed and company upgraded us to a bus the next day at no additional cost. Qingdao is a nice place too- the city is about 1hr away by car from the airport, though there are high speed rails that might be faster. admittedly, the city doesn't have the history of Beijing, Xi'an- but the city is clean, the food is nice, lots of natural scenery and the people are warm. Of course, this is the hometown of Tsingtao beer too, which goes with every meal! There's a nice lightshow at the 4 May square every evening from 7-10pm. Good place to take a walk, grab a small bite and do some light shopping too. Well lighted streets, so no concerns over safety. There are English roadsigns so you should be able to find your way if you get lost. The public transport seems quite navigable as well. if you have elderlies older than 65yrs travelling with you, entrance fees are mostly waived or at least halved too. (Not the beer factory though) Overall, would recommend Qingdao to any visitor to China and also Encounter China to assist in organizing!

The best decision I made on coming to Beijing with my family on a work trip where my free time was limited! Judy was a fantastic host who helped us and educated us throughout our trip. There were 5 in our party and all 5 agreed it was an amazing experience to tour with Judy. Highly recommended!
