What To Expect

Combining excitement and adventure the quad bike tours are an unforgettable adventure where guests self drive the quad bikes through native forest settings up to the Skywire site before descending back to the farm with a trip around the flats. The Farm Forest Ride takes approximately 1.5 hours and includes a number of stops with commentary about the area. Tour time will vary depending on riders skill level and the duration of stops. Riders must be a minimum of 16 years of age to drive. We have a number of passenger quad bikes for those under 16 (minimum age 5 years) and can be driven by either a guide or by a friend or parent. Please advise if any persons will be under the age of 16. Full instructions are given prior to getting on the quad bikes and all drivers have a chance to hone their skills on the practice track prior to heading out on the tour. Please note that drivers must display a level of competence prior to being allowed on the tour - anyone not meeting a minimum level will only be able to take the tour as a passenger.

It was a great experience. The quads were easy to operate, the scenery was fantastic and our tour guide, Fletcher was excellent. We highly recommend this tour.

Had an amazing tour with the lovely and knowledgable Georgia and Fletch. They made us feel soo relaxed and comfortable especially for me being a first time rider. Appreciated Georgia and the acknowledgement of Tāne Mahuta me Papatūānuku whilst taking in he Rangatira o te Ngahere 1800 year old Matai. Georgia and Fletch were awesome kaitiaki thank you for the adventure and memories made. Nga mihi mahana ki a korua from the Mighty Hawkesbay Serene & Drew

Amazing day! We went up the Hill to the flying fox by quads, and was guided by Cullen and Georgia. Both guides did and amazing job, and the trip would not have been the same without them. The entire ride, both on the ATV’s and the fox was so much fun. I Can highly recommend this

Started with a great breakfast at the Cafe. Quad bike was great fun time. Mike was a cruisy tour leader. Took us for a Farm tour then we played in the mud.

Fun trip with Fletcher - did a trial run and passed so got to go up the mountain with amazing views of cable bay and watched the sky wire take off. Great food in the cafe

Very fun. Good safety chat beforehand. Track in good condition. Guide very helpful and knowledgeable. Combined with the Skywire, which is also an exhilarating ride.
