The main pickup point is Info & Track / Info & Snow, located on 37 Shotover Street - parking can be difficult to find in town. If you have your own vehicle, you can park for free out at the Nomad Safaris Quad Bike Pick Up Location - 420 Tucker Beach Road (Tucker Beach Recreational Reserve), Queenstown. The car park is located very close to our quad base, and if you have your own vehicle you can park it there at your own risk and we can pick you up on the way through. Please ensure you inform us if you prefer this option, otherwise it will be assumed you are meeting us at the shop. It can also be found using What3Words: asparagus.remixes.restarts.

Quad biking is a physically demanding activity which requires a degree of physical strength and people of smaller stature/slight build are at greater risk of accident. Guides are trained to recognise potential safety concerns, including rider size and strength. This may restrict participation based on known risk factors.

Before the tour departs, all guests receive a safety briefing and basic quad bike training. If, during this training session, our guides assess that a rider is not competent or confident enough to safely operate the bike, they will not be allowed to continue riding on the tour. In some cases, guests may be offered the option to ride pillion (as a passenger) on a guide’s bike.

A valid credit/debit card is required when you check in, otherwise you can not participate in the trip and there will be no refund. In the event of an accident, we may charge up to $2,500 to cover any damage, repairs or insurance excess.

Had good weather and it was really fun! The riding goes for about 90 minutes and was adventurous. We thought it was good value for money - it’s also on private land so that makes it more exclusive also.

I was somewhat nervous about operating the quad bike but our guides Benjamin and Jordy gave us thorough instructions including how to stay safe. They then took us on a thrilling tour complete with incredible views.

We did the Queenstown Hill quad bike tour with Jordan, and it was an absolute blast! Everything we needed to know about the bikes and safety was thoroughly covered before we set out up the mountain, including practice runs and getting a decent feel for the quad bikes. The experience was fun from start to finish and the views from the top were simply stunning! Jordan was awesome. A friendly and personable guide, more than happy to answer any questions, and with fantastic knowledge of the bikes and the entire area/region. This tour was an absolute pleasure and if you’re looking for something new to try and views you cannot otherwise access as a tourist - 100% do this tour!!!

If you have ATV experience or strong upper body strength, it’s ok. Otherwise beware! Tour guides ride fast up the rocky trail and you have to keep up. They don’t watch out for you. My ATV hit a rock trying to keep up, I flew off and broke my wrist. It could’ve been much worse, since you ride on the edge of the cliff. They have you fill out a form, for their protection, and don’t call or follow up to see if you’re ok. I had 5 months of pain, PT and rehabilitation. Ruined what otherwise was a wonderful trip.

My friend and I went quad biking on Queenstown Hill and we had THE best experience. From start to finish our safety was a priority, but that didn’t compromise some mucky fun. Our guide was Jordan and he was incredibly pleasant; he took care of us and his chat was highly entertaining - a real gem. Thanks for creating a memorable experience for us.

An amazing afternoon. Phoebe and Matt(? I think - sorry if that's wrong) were excellent. The ride was great with excellent views all the way. A few quick stops on the way up but it was kept moving well. One of those "must-do" things when in Queenstown.
