Your guide navigates the terrain throughout – steep climbs, creek crossings, and forest tracks – stopping at an exclusive summit viewpoint high above the Queenstown, with panoramic views over Lake Wakatipu, Coronet Peak, and the surrounding mountain ranges.
Ride-along buggies are suitable for all ages from 4 years old. No experience needed. Full wet weather gear is provided if needed – the adventure runs in all conditions.
Choose from a 1-hour or 2-hour tour to suit your schedule. Return transfers from central Queenstown are included. Complimentary photos taken on-site. Allow an extra 30 minutes for check-in and transfers.

What To Expect
- Check in at the Off Road Adventures shop and meet your guide. - Transfer to the private 650-acre adventure park (approx. 5 min drive).
- Gear up with helmet and eye protection. - Join your guide for a briefing before heading out. - Ride the trails with your guide at the wheel – steep climbs, creek crossings, and forest tracks, with lookout stops and panoramic views over the Shotover River canyon, Lake Wakatipu, and the surrounding mountain ranges. - Gear off and view your complimentary adventure photos on site.

5.00Our guide Stef was amazing and very knowledgeable about the area. We asked a lot of questions about geology, plant life, and invasive species, which he answered with ease. He was also super supportive during our practice course driving and giving some really good tips to help us feel comfortable. I would happily do this trek again or aim for something longer!

5.00Sam accepted our last minute booking and we are glad he did. Had so much fun and felt more like a hang out then a guided tour. Sam was very friendly and made the trip much more enjoyable, especially considering we had never been on quads before. Would definitely recommend everyone to experience.

5.00This experience was the best!! Thrill seekers will love every minute of this 2 hour adventure. It was the perfect amount of mud and adrenaline. My husband was like a little kid!! Scott our guide was amazing! He had as much fun as we did chewing up the dirt as we flew around the tracks. All the protective gear is supplied to keep you as clean as possible. Totally recommend this when in Queenstown.
