5.00Smooth flight with jaw-dropping scenery. I was very fearful as had never been in a small plane and wind can be very strong above Milford Sound and Tasman Sea. Perfect sunny calm day. Annabelle, our pilot, was personable, extremely competent as a pilot as she flew our plane over glaciers, braided rivers, the Southern Alps, giving a running commentary on what we we seeing all the while. Friendly Elvin met us on the ground in Queenstown where Piper quickly took our payments. A seamless operation. Best $300 I have ever spent on travel!!

5.00An unforgettable sunrise flight with Glenorchy Air. Huge thanks to Ancy, Dana, and Nat for helping us choose the perfect experience tailored to our needs. They were friendly, clear with instructions, and made the booking easy. Special thanks to our pilot William. smooth flight, great take-off and landing, and so much local knowledge shared. The views over Queenstown and the surrounding mountains were breathtaking. A truly magical experience I’ll cherish forever. Highly recommended!

5.00This was honestly the best scenic flight I've been on in New Zealand! I loved Mount Cook, I loved Kaikōura, but being in the air for sunrise at Mt Aspiring was simply the best. I'm incredibly happy with the photos and videos I could capture. Great flight time of 1 hr 20 min I think as well, one of the benefits of taking a plane over a heli. Be aware that the weather can change quickly and plan a few days around your flight as a buffer. My date got changed twice but I guess it's for the better as I wouldn't want to crash haha The communication was seamless and the staff very nice :) Out pilot Joseph did an absolutely amazing job both flying and commentating! Definitely recommend!

5.00ONCE IN A QUEENSTOWN-LIFETIME EXPERIENCE! Honestly the most beautiful way to start your day, and a must do for anyone in Queenstown - above the snow-capped peaks of New Zealand South Island mountains. You effortlessly float around the tip of Mt Aspiring and over dozens of glaciers and mountains. Our pilot, Will, was a 1000/10. Both his talent for flying as well as sharing his knowledge of the region. We really enjoyed his commentary (and sense of humour!). The plane was comfortable and had heating which was great, as well as a high quality radio system to speak with each other while blocking out all of the outside noise. Super easy to book, the team were so helpful and enthusiastic and you absolutely get value for your money. Don't miss out, book it in!
