Explore truly unique experience in the heart of Quito city and discovering its history from a local eye; walk around its narrow streets visiting the most iconic architecture buildings such as; the Golden Church, San Francisco Square, the Main Square and at the same time visit Luis´ local workshop “Cruz Verde”, a well know artisan whose family has prepared the local candy “Colaciones” for the last 100 years keeping alive Quito´s tradition. For lunch, we will have the opportunity to seat with locals and enjoy a tasty meal freshly prepared using local products and flavors. After lunch, stand on both hemispheres by the Equator Line & try to balance an egg on a nail.

5.00It was our first stop in a tour of South America and was a great introduction to Ecuador. Alphonso met us at the airport on arrival and escorted us throughout our 3 night stay in Quito. We experienced the equator line museum, a tour of Quito old town and a day in Cotopaxi national park. Alphonso was knowledgeable, very friendly and extremely helpful - a superb guide. Very highly recommended - thanks for an unforgettable time in Quito.

5.00Our group of friends has had an amazing day out with David! Visiting churches, chocolate factory, cultural museum, hat, shop, delicious lunch, churches bus around the city, and commentary all the way along, and visiting two ice cream shops. All in all a fabulous day in Quito city

5.00A fabulous city tour exploring Quito and the surrounding area. Etiel ensured we had a wonderful experience seeing life out in the community villages, in Quito old town and provided advice for exploring the north of the city. His walking tour in the old part of the city provided us with chocolate tasting experience, ice-cream delights and the city’s speciality cake all topped off with a wonderful lunch at Pims restaurant near to the Virgin Mary statue overlooking to city. A great way to wrap up a wonderful experience. Etiel is so knowledgeable and provided us with great insight into life in Quito.

5.00Brilliant tour of the lovely city of Quito including the Equator line. So much beauty in the old town and the tour of the communes felt really authentic. Amazing hotel in Quito, the Sheraton. Felt very safe throughout. It’s no different to any other big city.

5.00Katie and I took the key to the city to her experience in equator line Tours with Adventure journeys. This was a great tour as it was our first day in Ecuador and we got oriented with the city culture and weather. Our guide Juan David did a great job explaining all aspects of what we were seeing from the sites to the cultural significance. We would recommend this tour for anyone looking for a well rounded experience and a great city overview.
