Learn about the history of the various conquests that took place in Quito, as well as the city's geographical evolution through the centuries, told through Kichwa toponymy.

Rasu was amazing! He was very attentive and informative. We got to learn so much of Quito’s history and how it connects to the rest of the country and South America. He is open minded and will answer any questions you have and he also lends an ear and is interested in where you are from and loves to learn from others. He is professional and has a humble personality. I would book again!

Rasu was a fantastic guide and showed us sights we would not have found on our own. He is very knowledgeable about Quito history and we learned so much! He was recommended by another friend who took his tour and our group recommends him as well!

We had the pleasure of exploring Quito’s city center with Rasu. He is a wonderful tour guide who takes his time to walk you through the history of the city and its people. He is also very knowledgeable and was very prompt in replying to all of our questions. We really appreciated that he explained different historical points of view at the various locations we explored. Toward the end of the tour, he also takes you to beautiful viewpoints of the city. We are very happy and would recommend his tour to anyone aiming to connect more deeply with Quito.

Super dynamic, interactive and perfect tour to know the most important things about Quito. It includes gastronomic tastings of typical products and gives space to know local crafts. Rasu is the best, I recommend 💯

A breath of fresh air compared to the usual tours. It’s rare to find experiences that truly highlight Indigenous and Native perspectives, and after visiting many LATAM countries, this is the first tour I’ve taken that genuinely centers Indigenous culture. Rasu brings Ecuador’s past to life—sharing the stories behind traditional craftwork, masonry, food, and pre-colonial history with real depth and passion. If you want a tour that actually thinks outside the box, this is it. Easily the best three hours I’ve spent on any tour.
