Surrounded by eucalyptus trees and trails, it is a sacred place where ancient rituals such as Inti Raymi are performed. The lagoon stands out for its scenic beauty, tranquil atmosphere and spiritual value. In addition, it is a tourist attraction that promotes contact with nature, cultural identity and community tourism in northern Ecuador.
