Good value for money, 1 HR travel each way and 3.5-4 hrs on tour. Quick 20 mins at gardens then back on bus to Medina. Walking to catacombs 15 mins with your guide, entry included, 15 mins in catacombs, v quick tour round, then walk back to old Medina for tour and 40 mins on yr own to explore and coffee. Total time Inc travel approx 5.5 hours from hotel pickup in mehellia.

Tour leader failed to realize the catacombs were closed on the day I booked. Waste of a half day. The tour operator tried to fix the situation but it was too late for me and we rode public transport back

My teenagers were a little disappointed because they are simple burial niches dug into the rock without any bones unlike those of Paris. That said, those of Rabat date from antiquity! And personally, I liked it.

Nice tour, oir guide was friendly and added to charm with thick Maltese accent 😃 recent reviews were bad, apparently the company solved the issue everything was as planned. Bus drive helps with organization and travels.

The coach was 30 mins late picking up . Travelling independently and using headphones would be have worked better for us .

We absolutely enjoyed Rabat Mdina and the St. Pauls Catacombs. However, the San Anton Gardens tour was a bust. We opted to return to the bus as it was raining heavily. Communication was a bit lacking at the gardens. There was a requirement to move from one bus to another; directions could have been clearer as many of us were confused as to what we needed to do especially in the heavy downpour.

A great tour by an informative and comical guide! Really enjoyable thanks very much! We learned a lot about the area and the history.

The bus driver has picked us up at our hotel. When the group arrived at San Anton Garden our guide appeared not to be there yet. After a call to the guide by the bus driver we could enjoy the fact that the guide was very surprised that we were already there and that it could take another 15 to 20 minutes before she was there. In itself that can happen, but if you arrive as a guide and don’t say “I apologize that you had to wait a while”, but take a very hautaine attitude and snap at questions, then I don’t think it’s neat. Her knowledge of what she told during the tour about San Antons Garden, Rabbat, the catacombs and Mdina was fine, only she spoke English with a very heavy Maltese accent which often made it difficult to understand. In itself a nice tour, but just had some bad luck with the guide.

Unfortunately the trip was over an hour late starting. It was also too rushed, there was no time to enjoy anything. It would probably be better to cover only two places.

This is a elaborate and facinating site. Do not miss it if you can. there are tours, but it can get a bit crowded. Lots of meandering tunnels and well preserved crypts and tombs. It dates back to Roman times, maybe earlier
