Excellent guide well prepared with rain jackets for us all. Stopped at a pearl farm which was educational. Did a drift snorkel which was wonderful. Strong current but with a guide in front and in the back everyone did great. They showed us various types of coral and fish. Small group of 5 made for a great experience.

We did the half day tour and had a great time despite the rain. A quick stop at a pearl farm was unexpected but informative and thankfully not high pressure. We then went to the drift snorkel, about a 150 yard drift, very fast at first, almost uncontrollably, but then slowed as we exited the narrow passage and we could see and swim around much more leisurely. Our guide took us for two passes, and we spent a long hour there. The ride consisted of a nice boat that we eventually circled the island in, after the snorkel, we were offered a fruit cup and a drink prior to heading home. The skies looked ominous when we left and the mate passed out ponchos which was very nice to wear in the biting rain. Overall, it was a very nice day.

Drift snorkeling is really fun and you don’t have to do much work. The current is strong and pushes you but it makes it difficult to take good pictures. The pearl farm was informative and not pushy into buying. I did buy earrings 😀

It's a fairly long motorboat ride to the Coral Gardens, but the beauty of the water makes it worthwhile.

Beautiful swim in clear, warm water with hundreds of fish and pieces of coral. Wish the snorkel gear had a valve to close intake when it dropped below water. Very good guides and nice boat. Also, stopped at a pearl farm.

Get ready for a fun adventure with amazing guides on this excursion. Our small group was taken on a wonderful ride to visit a pearl farm. We thought this would just be a sales pitch, and hoped it would be quick. We were pleasantly surprised to get a great lesson in pearl harvesting with amazing demonstrations. There was jewelry for sale, but the emphasis was on teaching us about the passionate work being done with the oysters. After this we were taken to our snorkeling spot. We walked through the water to the shore and then along the shore to get to a starting spot. DO NOT DO THIS WITHOUT WATER SHOES! I won't lie - drift snorkeling is a challenge for me as the current was fairly strong, and I didn't feel like we had total control - leading to some minor collisions with other members in our group. After the drift snorkeling we had free time to snorkel on our own in the area. During the drift and free snorkeling, we saw many different amazing fish, clams, and coral. The return trip to the starting point was taken at a much faster speed which jostled all of our internal organs! That could have been a little slower for comfort, but all in all we had a great day. Again, the guides were so helpful and caring, never leaving anyone behind. I can't stress enough the importance of having WATER SHOES for this excursion.

We had a very pleasant boat ride. Then we stopped to snorkle. Pro: snorkled with stingrays, black tipped sharks and colorful fish. Con: there were too many people in that one area. Lunch was mediocre (we don't eat seviche) and those of us who are older (65+) would have been very happy to go back to the ship right after lunch. We didn't leave the lunch area til 2:30 pm, and we weren't interested in fire dance, coconut demo or service prep.
