What To Expect
After being picked up you will be taken by a private vehicle to the remote countryside on the eastern side of Nevis where you will be guided into the cool, lush rainforest. It is a moderate hike to the first waterfall, where you can take a plunge in its refreshing pool. Sturdy footwear, a modereate level of fitness and surefootedness is needed as you will be walking over rocks and tree roots along the trail. Guests who are confident in their fitness can opt to continue on as the trail becomes slightly more challenging up to several more waterfalls, while guests who do not wish to proceed can enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the first waterfall until the rest of the group returns.

5.00Derrick was an amazing guide and the hike was challenging and rewarding! Derrick let us determine how much we wanted to push ourselves while encouraging breaks for water and mindfulness. He focused on safety which was necessary particularly on the later parts of the trail as you’re scaling wet rocks with just the help of a rope (which you can choose to opt out of). Highlights included cooling off in a waterfall pool, drinking fresh water from the springs hose, and enjoying the way nature gives you just enough to keep going. We would not have gotten to see nearly as much without Derricks guidance and that’s assuming we were even able to find the trailhead on our own.

5.00We had such a great time with Amanda as our guide to the waterfalls. She tailored the hike to our preferences (not into meditation). Hiking to waterfalls was gorgeous. Swam at the waterfalls. Then she drove us to the hot springs. Great day!!
