What To Expect

We will provide guide book on every table, so you only need to follow the instruction, and you will be able to make delicious ramen. We also have instructors here if you need any help. You'll make everything from making the noodles, draining them, mixing them with the soup and roasting the chicken. This is an all all-inclusive class. Making noodles • Knead the flour • Roll out the dough • Cut the dough-Drain the Noodles • Boil the noodles • Drain the water from the noodles Chicken Garnish • Use a string to tie the chicken meat • Scatter the condiment and cook it • Slice the chicken to the length you want • We can serve Tofu instead of chicken for vegetarian and vegan options. Please let us know in advance.-Soup • We offer many types of broths so you can blend with each other • Different kinds of sauces to choose Finishing • Put the boiled noodles into the soup • Put the toppings on and it will be finished!

The Ramen Factory popped up on my maps when I was looking for something else and we decided to make a last-minute, same day reservation. This was such a great experience! Sakura, our teacher, was the sweetest and was eager to speak English with us. The ramen was fantastic and we've excited to make our own noodles at home now in the states. My husband is the ramen fan and I'm less so, but I will definitely be eating it more often now that I know how it can be made. I highly recommend it as something unique in Kyoto, even for families. Definitely worth the price for all the knowledge and freebies you get- we chose a t-shirt and bowl. Thanks again to Sakura and The Ramen Factory!

I took this cooking class with my mom, and we had a wonderful time! I would definitely recommend it if you're in Kyoto. Our instructor Sakura was the best! Great energy, great personality. Her genuine enthusiasm elevated the whole experience! She was very attentive and perfectly balanced education with fun. She also used our phones to take pictures and videos, ensuring that we would have lasting memories of our time at Ramen Factory! The ramen itself was delicious. At the end of the class, we received a certificate of completion with a photo and a handwritten note from Sakura! We also got to keep our cooking bandanas and choose an additional keepsake souvenir (branded t-shirt, apron, etc.). Overall, an excellent value!

This class was so fun and informative! Mahiro was really knowledgeable and engaging and taught us how to make an awesome ramen bowl! This will absolutely be a highlight of our trip!!
