Many Charleston Ghost Tours have big groups of 25+ - NOT HERE!! We limit our tour sizes to about 12 to keep them fun! Charleston is one of the most charming and colorful cities in the world; however, when the light fades and shadows grow long, a darker side of the Holy City emerges. Over the course of just over 1 mile long, our 90 min walk will pass haunted graveyards, churches, alleyways, hotels, restaurants, and bars. You will hear the real and terrifying stories of ghostly brides, murders, pirates, soldiers, executions, duels, and so much more! As the night falls over the streets of Charleston, we start by the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon and walk through the historic streets where you will hear about real, and active spirits from Charlestons 350 year history like pirates whose lives were cut short at the end of a noose, a young lady who wonders down a particular alley, and a doctor who walks throughout the Holy City. Come Hear It All!

5.00We had a wonderful tour with Brandon. We thought maybe because we were starting at 5 pm, the tour might not be as fun. We were wrong. It was a great tour, and all four of us (two adults and a 10 and 12 year old) loved it. Highly recommend this tour and Brandon.

5.00Branson, the tour guide, is passionate about Charleston. He has a family history here, as well. We did a 5 pm tour with him on 1/2/2026 and had a diverse age group with us. Brando tailored the stories and details and knows how to consider his audience. I will I have had a hard time locating Instagram and Facebook likes for this business-as of course we would like to tag him and the business on our social media posts. Please advice when possible! The stories were spooky, fascinating, and perfectly balanced with real history, making the city come alive in the best (and creepiest) way. A special shoutout to Brandon, our guide—he was incredible! Brandon’s storytelling was engaging, knowledgeable, and genuinely entertaining. You could tell he’s passionate about Charleston’s history, and he delivered every tale with just the right mix of humor, suspense, and respect for the city’s past. He also made sure everyone felt involved and answered questions with ease. If you’re visiting Charleston and want a fun, memorable, and slightly chilling experience, I can’t recommend Real Hauntings of Charleston enough—especially if you get Brandon as your guide!
