• Fun ride but some issues

  We had a nice time. Our guide Sarah was wonderful. It was a fun and relaxing raft trip with low level rapids that were good for beginners. Only reason for a reduced to 3 stars is that they did not provide lunch as detailed with our tickets and there were too many in the raft so 3 of us did not get to paddle. (11 including the guide.)

  I wrote an e-mail to the stating that our airline had to fly an additional three hours and land to a different city out of state due to a severe thunderstorm the night before. I also requested in the e-mail if they would be willing to re-schedule our family a few days later with no response. I did get a response from Viator stating that the company listed us as a ‘no-show’ even though I tried communicating with them the night before. We lost $500 and I’m disappointed on how they handled the situation. It would have been nice if they would be willing to work with us on our vacation due to an unfortunate situation.

  My friends and I were at the pickup location twenty (20) minutes early for the 9:00 am pickup. They never showed up. At 9:04 am, I received an email saying that they left without us because we didn’t show up. Total bullsh*t. And, of course, they refused to refund our money. Do they return calls? No. We came from Ohio by motorcycle to enjoy Montana’s beauty and a river raft trip. Red Canyon River Trips screwed us over. Find another company to provide you with a rafting trip.

  Noah was an excellent guide with great energy! Rafting was a good time that would be suitable for almost anyone. The canyon was beautiful and the river was flowing nicely throughout the 3+ hour adventure. Highly recommend!

  It was a really fun trip and Noah and Daniel were both very personable and fun! The views were beautiful and the rafting was great and just the right level for us. Just one thing to know is that we did not receive a breakfast item or lunch as advertised and in the description so that needs to be changed if they aren’t going to provide anything. We did get a bottle of water.

  We had a lovely time with Burns as our skipper/guide. Our boat was just for our family of 4 (including teens). The 9am trip includes an early lunch stop and finishes around 1pm. We felt safe throughout and learnt a lot about the area. A highlight was getting wet in the rapids and eventually jumping in into Shoshone river aka ‘stinking river’ (which heavily smells of sulphur). My only comment is that expectations should be managed for those used to wilder white water rafting. This was much more on the tame side of things! The other boat that started alongside us had a 5y old and some grandparents so this is rafting for everyone - don’t expect huge jumps. Lunch of sandwiches and crisps hit the spot. Our guide Burns and the other staff members were very friendly and knowledgeable. Photos are being taken on departure and at a few stops along the way which makes a great additional souvenir at the end (for $20).

  We had such a great time on our River Trip. It was a relaxing trip in a beautiful setting! The water was low since it was later in the summer. There were a few small rapids; just enough to get you good and wet. Tristan was our guide. He was capable, helpful and very friendly! (He’s also a rodeo champion!) We would definitely do this trip again if we were ever in Cody again.

  This was so fun, the scenery is absolutely beautiful while kayaking in "duckies" for the "half day" on the Sheshone. Our 14 and 15 year old daughters LOVED it, exactly what we hoped for. It's not so easy to talk while on the river but our guide to the river, Tommy, was very informative during the drive to our drop off. We really enjoyed talking to him. Tristan was our guide down the river he was a lot of fun too. We also enjoyed our driver back (sorry can't remember name) he was fun and easy to talk to. We were given an impressive sandwich lunch complete with strawberries, and brownies. The time given was accurate, though we gladly would've spent more time on the river with these guys. We were back at the shop in Cody by 1:10. Thanks guys for a great time!!! Note: If booking online call to confirm! There was a snafu and Groupon had us booked on a day that was full but I had called Cody Wyoming Adventures after booking (just because Groupon can be sketchy) and we were able to book for the day after originally planned. Also, payment was an issue because Groupon unexpectedly cancelled our reservation and we don't carry that much cash, but thankfully Tommy was quick to think outside the box and figure out a way.
