What To Expect
This small group excursion takes you on a tour of the lagoon onboard fast and comfortable boats, equipped with sun canopy for an enjoyable sun protection while cruising from one to another snorkelling spot (8 passengers maximum). During this unique experience, you will discover pristine marine areas of the lagoon led by our qualified and passionate guides. Depending on the weather and wildlife behaviour on the day, you will visit between 3-4 spots: First thing in the morning, you'll head to the Manta Rays feeding ground to spot these underwater angels, before cruising to discover two renowned local coral gardens. If the conditions allow, you'll also spend time looking for the Eagle Rays. Your guide will jump in the water with you to point out the different species and help out where required people who are not comfortable swimmers. For people who have never snorkelled or are not confident swimmers, we recommend our private tours for a more personable experience during which the guide will be able to focus all his attention on you. 5.00We had an amazing experience! Noe, our guide, was extremely helpful - The other two groups spoke French, but he made sure to translate all the instructions clearly in English and point things out to us in English as well. The group size was five people, so it felt very personal and special. We got to see Mantas, which was a main reason for booking this tour, as well as eagle rays! We also swam through an incredible coral garden with hundreds of fish. Our guide pointed out fish we totally would have missed, including a puffer fish that became a highlight for me! This was a huge standout for us during our trip and I would highly recommend for those looking to see rays especially.

5.00We booked the Reef Discovery Half Day Group Signature Tour and it ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Bora Bora. What truly made the experience unforgettable was our guide. He was incredibly fun, engaging, and so knowledgeable about the lagoon and marine life. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. He shared fascinating insights throughout the tour and knew exactly where to go to maximize every moment. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone in our group had the best possible experience. From helping less experienced swimmers feel comfortable to keeping things light and entertaining, he struck the perfect balance. What really stood out to me personally was how he stepped in to help with my kiddos, which gave me the chance to fully enjoy the water and take in everything around me. And wow, the wildlife! We saw manta rays, blacktip sharks, eagle rays, and stingrays up close, along with tons of vibrant fish and coral. It felt like swimming in a real-life aquarium. Small group size, incredible spots, and a guide who genuinely cares—it doesn’t get much better than this. I’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bora Bora without hesitation. It was pure magic. ✨

5.00Very nice excursion with our guide Fabien, who knew how to make this trip both exciting and friendly. We had the chance to observe magnificent species: manta rays, leopard rays, dolphins and a wide variety of fish, all in the heart of a real coral garden. Navigating the lagoon, with its incredible shades of blue, was simply magical. Fabien’s explanations throughout the excursion were very interesting and rewarding. An exceptional experience that I recommend without hesitation!

5.00The activity includes a visit to 3 strategic points of the Bora Bora lagoon, with a motor boat, together with a small group of people. In just 3 hours you can admire the majestic manta rays, sea eagles and snorkelling surrounded by myriad colorful fish. The guide for the day was Aro, a very nice person, helpful and competent, who patiently answered all my questions. I also point out that he speaks excellent English, which unfortunately is not obvious in Polynesia.

5.00Amazing day with Mana in Bora Bora, swam with the Manta rays and Eagle rays. Beautiful trip to the Coral Gardens and then snorkeling in an area with lots of fish. Mana made the trip really special as he was so helpful with my wife and the current and worked really hard for us to see and do everything. Got to see a huge Manta Ray right off the boat! What a beautiful place! This is a great tour and we highly recommend!

5.00What a superb day spent with Fabian who was a wonderful host. Lucky to be just the 2 of us...perhaps the others were uncertain of the weather, but Fabian didn't seem bothered, so we were not either. He was knowledgeable and fun and clearly personally loves and cares for the coral gardens we visited. My husband and I visited the Manta Rays, and swam solo with a family of eagle rays...one came under us and we saw an entire universe on her back...and lastly we visited one of the beautiful coral gardens with Fabien...so many friendly fish and a few sharks. The sea life of Bora Bora is magic!
