Fabien was great. Fabien took us to several stops around the lagoon. He showed us a large manta ray, sting rays, spotted rays, lots of colorful fish, stone fish, scorpion fish, and sharks to top it off. Highly recommend.

Tour was 30 minutes late departing, waiting for 2 more people. First stop was quite close to the pier. Many other tour boats there already with several dozen people in the water over a small area looking for/following a few rays. Our boat squeezed in between other tour boats. We did see a couple of rays but it was a gong show; crowded with poor visibility and rough water. Swimmers swimming over each other and pushing their way through made it a bad experience. Being the last boat there instead of half an hour earlier made it worse. Second stop was "Coral Gardens". At least two other boats were already there in a small area. Tour guide (the only crew member) came in the water with us but was slow to get going, kept us bunched together and then rushed us through the area. No commentary or pointing out fish/coral. We were there perhaps 40 minutes at most with no chance to explore the area. We had to watch for other boats coming and going from the area which was too busy and not especially safe. Snorkeling was unremarkable. Boat ride to our last stop was very rough and quite a distance to travel, more than 30 minutes. We asked the operator to slow the boat down as it was very uncomfortable/painful seated near the bow (boat was crowded) with the boat pounding into the waves. Operator gave some attitude about "scheduling" but eventually slowed down slightly. Third stop was for eagle rays. Water was quite murky with some current but we did manage to see a couple rays in 12-15' of water. Probably there 30 minutes at most. Operator stayed in the boat, which was not anchored. It was a pretty superficial third stop! Then we spent some time dropping off 2 couples to 2 different resorts before returning to the pier, on time. Overall the tour operator did not offer assistance to anyone with their equipment, helping people in/out of boat, etc. There were 9 passengers on an 8 passenger maximum tour that was expensive. Tour was rushed through and two of the spots were too busy to be enjoyable or especially safe. We did the same tour with this company in 2019 and had a great time. This time we were disappointed in the difference and unhappy with the quality and value for money!

We did the Reef Discovery Half Day Tour as a family of five (two adults and three young children ages 2, 4, and 6) and even though the weather didn’t cooperate, we still had an amazing time! Our guide, Fabien, was absolutely fantastic — warm, patient, and incredibly accommodating with our little ones. Because of the rain and low visibility, we weren’t able to see the manta rays, but Fabien made sure we still got the most out of our trip. He took us to a beautiful sandbar where we swam with sharks and stingrays, which the kids absolutely loved, and then to a stunning coral garden for snorkeling. Despite the weather, the underwater scenery was breathtaking! Eventually the kids got cold from the rain, so we ended the tour a bit early. To our surprise, the company issued us a refund for the tour — completely unprompted. This level of kindness and customer care is so rare and truly appreciated. Even with the rainy conditions, this tour was a highlight of our trip. Huge thanks to Fabien and the entire team for turning a soggy day into a memorable adventure! Highly recommended!

This was an absolute BLAST! Fabien took us out on a beautiful boat all around the lagoon and wow does he know exactly what yo look for. We saw the giant Manta rays, Eagle rays, amazing/unique fish in the coral beds and even spinner dolphins which is apparently a rare sight to see. This was THE ultimate snorkeling adventure and one we will never forget. If you’re thinking about booking, just do it!!

We had the most amazing experience with Fabien. We swam with sharks, manta rays, and he was so amazing with our children! Keeping them entertained and safe while we got to explore and be kids ourselves. We could not have asked for a better treasure hunt!!!

Any excursion on Bora Bora is going to be the experience of a lifetime. This one focused on finding Eagle Rays and Manta Rays. We found both. Also we stopped at the famous Bora Bora “Coral Gardens” and another snorkeling area on the south side of the main island.

A huge thank you to Fabien for this superb discovery of the Bora Bora lagoon! The excursion was beautiful, and swimming with the marine wildlife of Bora was a fantastic experience 🌊🐠 Fabien shares his passion with great kindness and professionalism, and his advice for hiking was really valuable. Without forgetting his office on a daily basis, a simply splendid decor 😍 An unforgettable adventure that we recommend 100%! Jeremy and Marine

We had an incredible cruising and snorkeling experience with Fabien! He picked us up at the St Regis dock and took us to four different locations around the Bora Bora lagoon for over 3 hours, where we snorkeled for different types of manta, eagle, and stingrays, sharks, and an incredible variety of fish. The cruise alone is worth the price of admission, yet Fabien’s guidance and the snorkeling in the crystal clear yet stunning waters of the lagoon made this a standout activity.

Had an amazing time with Fabien who very adeptly found the manta rays and spotted eagle rays and coral garden. His knowledge of the geology and history added another layer of enjoyment. Great sense of humour and very attentive to everyone’s individual needs.

The best thing we have done in Bora Bora so far! Our guide Fabian was fantastic. He knew where to go, we got to see all 3 different kinds of rays (manta ray, sting ray and eagle rays), swam with the sharks, and he even jumped in to show us some beautiful things in a coral garden he called the “aquarium”.
