What To Expect
This small group excursion takes you on a tour of the lagoon onboard fast and comfortable boats, equipped with sun canopy for an enjoyable sun protection while cruising from one to another snorkelling spot (8 passengers maximum). During this unique experience, you will discover pristine marine areas of the lagoon led by our qualified and passionate guides. Depending on the weather and wildlife behaviour on the day, you will visit between 3-4 spots: First thing in the morning, you'll head to the Manta Rays feeding ground to spot these underwater angels, before cruising to discover two renowned local coral gardens. If the conditions allow, you'll also spend time looking for the Eagle Rays. Your guide will jump in the water with you to point out the different species and help out where required people who are not comfortable swimmers. For people who have never snorkelled or are not confident swimmers, we recommend our private tours for a more personable experience during which the guide will be able to focus all his attention on you. 5.00It was an absolutely amazing experience! I would highly recommend taking this tour. Our guide Fabien was absolutely fantastic. This was a very affordable day for two couples and the lunch was delicious. Don't miss out on taking this tour!

5.00Amazing day with Mana in Bora Bora, swam with the Manta rays and Eagle rays. Beautiful trip to the Coral Gardens and then snorkeling in an area with lots of fish. Mana made the trip really special as he was so helpful with my wife and the current and worked really hard for us to see and do everything. Got to see a huge Manta Ray right off the boat! What a beautiful place! This is a great tour and we highly recommend!

5.00What a superb day spent with Fabian who was a wonderful host. Lucky to be just the 2 of us...perhaps the others were uncertain of the weather, but Fabian didn't seem bothered, so we were not either. He was knowledgeable and fun and clearly personally loves and cares for the coral gardens we visited. My husband and I visited the Manta Rays, and swam solo with a family of eagle rays...one came under us and we saw an entire universe on her back...and lastly we visited one of the beautiful coral gardens with Fabien...so many friendly fish and a few sharks. The sea life of Bora Bora is magic!

5.00We booked the Reef Discovery 1/2 day Signature Lagoon Tour for my big birthday on March 16, 2026. We did it as a private tour for eight of us. Everything was fantastic from the boat to the stops to our wonderful Captain/Guide, Mana! We first snorkeled with Manta Rays, next stop was swimming with Eagle Rays, we then went to their “semi-private” reef snorkel spot and finished with a fabulous sand bar experience with views of Mt. Otemanu. Mana guided us on our reef snorkeling tour which was absolutely stunning. The clearest water I have ever experienced snorkeling all over the world. Beautiful coral, small blue clams and abundance of fish. The final stop was relaxing on a sand bar area in shallow baby blue water with views of Mt. Otemanu. We ate snacks, had beverages and danced in the ocean as Mana serenaded us on the Ukelele. Really one of the best tours we have very had! HIGHLY texcomwd this tour of the Bora Bora lagoon!

5.00Incredible trip seeing manta rays, eagle rays, stingrays, coral and fish. Our fantastic guide Manu found 50+ rays for us to see. He led us individually through the narrow passages of the coral garden to ensure we all saw everything. He also gave us a great overview of the geology of Bora Bora.

5.00This was what we all said was our favorite experience at the end of our trip. We were able to see 2 manta rays and a lot of other wildlife. Our guide, Mana, was amazing. He was very funny and helpful with the less experienced snorkelers. Overall was awesome.

5.00Mana took us to 3 incredible snorkeling spots. Firstly to see the coral garden - like swimming in a life size aquarium - colours can not be replicated on photos. We then were taken to where the manta rays are ‘cleaned’ by fish - very fortunately we were rewarded with an incredible time with a manta ray. Last but certainly not least we were taken close to the reef to swim with black tipped reef sharks and sting rays. 3 fantastic experiences that will never be forgotten.
