What To Expect
Immerse yourself in the captivating world of reindeer herding, enjoy a brief reindeer sleigh ride, and delve into the deeply-rooted practices of this ancient profession in Finnish Lapland. Your experience begins with a meeting with your guide at the set meeting points, where you'll be warmly dressed up before the take off to meet the reindeers. When everyone is ready, your journey to meet the reindeers at Reindeer Manor, 20-minutes drive away from the center of Rovaniemi begins. You can meet the friendly reindeer and enjoy a brief 500m long reindeer sledge ride. Local reindeer herders will be present to share their insights and address any queries you may have about the distinctive lifestyle and customs of the region’s reindeer herders. Gain a deeper understanding of how herders manage their reindeer and collaborate as a family to preserve their way of life. To add warmth, hot juice and biscuits will be served in the hut. After the visit, you will be transported back to the meeting point.

4.00Personally it was wonderful to meet the reindeer, they are beautiful creatures!!! Nature around is beautiful! I would just prefer to bypass the sled part, I would just prefer the experience of watching and being close!!!

5.00This is for someone who wants to get a taste of a reindeer farm! Yes the reindeer ride is short, but the experience was amazing! Especially since we got to feed them and have warm juice with cookies after while we learned about reindeer history! Recommend for families with small children and all ages!

5.00A wonderful experience!!! We met a traditional reindeer herder who led us through the forest to his herd. What a beautiful moment to discover these animals so peaceful and what a good time shared with this charming breeder who offered us a warm berry juice by the fire in a shelter. A special thank you to our escort Maiju for her kindness, professionalism and smile!!!

3.00What a dream! Go to Lapland. to Rovaniemi more exactly and visit a reindeer farm! Arrived on time , as requested precisely in the email , we wait 45 minutes without explanation before we are transported by bus to this farm. We are divided into 2 groups of about fifteen people. Quick explanations of the operation of the farm and the reindeer lifestyle , by a young man dressed in traditional dress , tasting a hot juice and cupcakes (10mn max). Reindeer sleigh ride 5mn. And reindeer feeding 5/10 minutes. The trip lasts 45 minutes no more! The kids love it! In the end this remains the main thing

2.00Arrived on time but waited 45 minutes for the transport to bring us to the reindeer farm. Once we reached the farm, the sled ride was interesting and fun for sure, and we did get to pet the reindeer’s as well as feed them. Afterwards, we were brought into a traditional hut and were given warm drinks which were appreciated, however the actual portion where we were told fun facts and information about the reindeers lasted for at most 10 minutes. Once done, we waited nearly half an hour for transport back to the city. All in all, we had lots of idle and waiting time whilst the actual tour lasted for at most 45 minutes. Not sure if this is the same for other reindeer tours but the ones I experienced in Tromso were much better.

5.00Liked the flexibility of 2 pick up locations. The staff was kind & knowledgeable & respectful of the animals. I appreciated the learning portion at end about the reindeer and hearing more specifically about that farm/manor.

5.00We just love it! Sled ride was cozy and nice. After it, we feed some reindeer and take photos with them. Then we get some cookies and warm drink and listen storys about reindeers.
