What To Expect
We would like to invite you to visit our Saami camp with hundreds of reindeer surrounded by stunning scenery and the famous Lyngen Alp mountains. This is a family friendly activity enjoyed by all ages. Our camp is far away from the city lights and noise, so it is the perfect spot to look out for the northern lights while being surrounded by hundreds of reindeer. The natural wonders can sometimes be predicted but never guaranteed. You will participate in the daily feeding session of the cutest herd of reindeer at our camp, and here you will have plenty of time to get up-close and personal with our charming creatures. You will also be welcomed into our wooden lavvo (Saami hut) to warm up when needed and there you will be served a range of hot beverages to drink (coffee, tea, chocolate) and a hot meal for dinner. Our expert guide will tell you about the fascinating reindeer and share some secrets about how to survive life in an extreme Arctic nature. By taking part in this evening excursion we hope you will be charmed by our reindeer - the true hero in the Arctic. At the transfer you will share a bus with up to 48 of our guests who participate in different activities.

5.00Well organized and fun beyond expectations, even for my 3 teenagers. The reindeer are really nice, and we were lucky with gusts of Northern Lights! We are impressed with the Sami explanation, thanks for everything we learned, the beautiful yolk singing and the good food. Successful outing!

5.00You get to visit one of the Sami reindeers herders' village and learn about them first hand. Reindeers are super cute (and extremely photogenic) and so the experience is really fun. Snacks and the main course are a pleasant addition. Highly recommend.

3.00Large group of people waiting at the meeting point without clear instructions. there was another group of people feeding the reindeer before us, I believe the reindeer were full and walk away from us very soon, there were more people inside than reindeer. It was boring during dinner as the share of Sami culture was after dinner. Good thing is you can see the reindeer closely & the share of Sami culture is interesting.

1.00Could not find tour guide outside Radison Blu where told to meet. We were there at 1740, walked a block in either direction and waited in cold for 40 min, then gave up. Will cancel payment on card.
