We would like to invite you to visit our Saami camp with hundreds of reindeer surrounded by stunning scenery and the famous Lyngen Alp mountains. This is a family friendly activity enjoyed by all ages. Our camp is far away from the city lights and noise, so it is the perfect spot to look out for the northern lights while being surrounded by hundreds of reindeer. The natural wonders can sometimes be predicted but never guaranteed. You will participate in the daily feeding session of the cutest herd of reindeer at our camp, and here you will have plenty of time to get up-close and personal with our charming creatures. You will also be welcomed into our wooden lavvo (Saami hut) to warm up when needed and there you will be served a range of hot beverages to drink (coffee, tea, chocolate) and a hot meal for dinner. Our expert guide will tell you about the fascinating reindeer and share some secrets about how to survive life in an extreme Arctic nature. By taking part in this evening excursion we hope you will be charmed by our reindeer - the true hero in the Arctic. At the transfer you will share a bus with up to 48 of our guests who participate in different activities.

Truly excellent on every level. Everything was very well organised, coach journey was straightforward/ easy. The Sami village was fascinating, very welcoming. Feeding the reindeers was fun, the guides were very informative about their culture. And we had fantastic views of the northern Lights. Highly recommend

This was a fun family experience for me, my husband and our 11yo son. Getting to the reindeer camp was like driving through a snow globe - all part of the adventure. On arrival we were greeted by our Saami guide, Anna, and led to the welcoming and warm lavvo (Saami tent). Once settled, we headed out to feed the reindeers in the nearby field. We spent almost an hour with the reindeer. They were gentle with us, although not afraid to chase each other out of the way for the best feed buckets! Next, was a delicious meal in the tent, with option to eat either reindeer or a vegetable stew. Bread, cookies and hot drinks were also provided. Lastly, Anna gave us a really interesting insight into many aspects of Saami culture: how they heard reindeer, changes and challenges from climate change and explanations about Saami dress across different regions of Lapland. The tour exceeded our expectations and was a fun and interesting experience in Norway.

Pleasant experience overall with Sami guide engaging in his tales. However, the proposed price appears to be exaggerated for the services provided (about half an hour feeding the reindeer, a reindeer soup with hot drinks and about half an hour of storytelling).

The trip was cancelled when we arrived as there had been a car accident blocking the coach to pick us up. Disappointed but out of their control

We are very glad we booked this experience. It was a privilege to learn about the Sami culture, feed the cute reindeer and be lucky enough to see the northern lights. An all round fantastic evening.

A great experience, the guide was very knowledgeable, the reindeers were adorable, we walked among them and touched them while feeding them. It did feel a bit stretched out, we certainly did not feel rushed.
