The country has beautiful colored mountains (red-yellow-black-brown), beautiful waterfalls and lakes and do not forget the forests. The country is not densely populated and it is very safe. Everyone's following the rules of the road. The people are very helpful. I'm a bad eater but I ate super much there, so good.

The tour offers a good first impression of Azerbaijan. Especially the trip via Lahic in the mountains to Sheki is good, because you see a completely different side of Azerbaijan. There is always enough time to make your own explorations in the afternoon or evening, or to rest. On your own, Baku is a good place to go at night. All super safe. The hotels were good and the breakfast and WiFi great. Our guide Farhad was a very good driver and took us safely from place to place despite rain and wind. The tip with the wine tasting in Lahic was great and is definitely recommended! The agency can be fully recommended.

I took a tailored tour around Azerbaijan (Baku and surroundings, Sheki, Quba, several viaalges) combined with a tour to Nakhchivan. Artunj, the manager, was able to organise everything on the highest level and found highly-knowledgeable guides, Elvin, Mubariz and Sama. Artunj was also able to rearrange everything when I was made to postpone my flight. Azerbaijan is a country with rich history and beautiful nature, a bit off the beaten track but worth a visit beyond any doubt. I highly recommend visiting less known places, such as Sheki, Quba and especially Nakhchivan, the largest (and the most beautiful) exclave in the world. I can wholeheartedly recommend Azerbaijanguide.az as a company, where your requests will be fulfilled and attended to and the country itself as one of the most amazing places I have ever visited!

A group of family friends, we opted for a customised 7-nights Azerbaijan trip through azerbaijanguide.az. Interestingly, I got to know about them (azerbaijanguide.az) through a random internet search. The reviews were positive and hence, gave me the confidence to engage with them and explore options. Artunj was the initial point of contact and he stayed connected right through. It took multiple rounds of interactions spanning across 2-3 weeks before we eventually finalised our itinerary and confirmed our plans. Credit to Artunj for staying committed during this period, responding to each and every query with all possible details. It was his attitude that gave me the confidence to proceed with them. From the time we landed in Baku, Artunj made it a point to meticulously track us. Our pick up from the Airport to the apartment in Baku was absolutely smooth and well planned. We had managed the Baku apartment booking ourselves, in consultation with Artunj....it was very professional of him to not push his choice on to us. Our guide from Day 2 till Day 7 was Elvin. He ferried us across in his well maintained Mercedes Benz vehicle, doubling up as a guide. A great personality and an extrovert, Elvin made it a point to make us feel special. As much as English is not common in Azerbaijan, Elvin was extremely comfortable in connecting with us in English. To top it, he had phenomenal knowledge of India, which made it very convenient and comfortable for us. Besides, Elvin is excellent when it comes to Azerbaijan history, local dynamics et al. Not to forget, very safe and skillful at driving. Our stay at Qabala was managed by Artunj. It was a very well maintained villa with necessary infrastructure and facilities. Two meals of the day (lunch and dinner) were managed by azerbaijanguide.az. What pleased us here was that Artunj was very accommodative on this front. We were a group of vegetarians and were quite particular about the exclusion list. Alongside, we did not want to limit ourselves to Indian food alone...we were keen to explore local food as well. It was here that Artunj and Elvin combined very well to come up with different choices. This was very important for us and thankfully, they did a great job on this front. Overall, we enjoyed the trip and the hospitality received from Artunj and Elvin. It was great to meet Artunj in person towards the end of our trip. Both were extremely polite, courteous and professional. Besides, Artunj was regular in seeking our feedback and, importantly, willing to make adjustments to ensure we were comfortable. That is the hallmark of good service in the Tourism sector. Strongly recommend anyone traveling to Azerbaijan to consider azerbaijanguide.az

We would recommend Azerbaijan, a very interesting country, breathtaking modern architecture (although some at the expense of previous buildings), wonderful deserted countryside. So much space and so clean. The tour guide was a young local man called Farhad, very proper and correct. Good safe driver. Nicely spoken English. He concentrated on the history of his country, both ancient and recent, very knowledgeable. (We should have asked him more about how it is now, which would have been interesting). When we went inland to Sheki for several days there was and had been heavy rain (May 2024), which prohibited us visiting various buildings, waterfalls, villages and sites of interest (Mamirli Waterfall, Sumuq Fortress, Lahic village) because the roads had been washed away. Unfortunately there was not enough planned to substitute these failed visits. The hotels were excellent, in Baku the 'Grand Hotel' a lovely classic hotel with spacious bedrooms, in Sheki a very well decorated hotel called 'Old Town', very pretty. The food was all good, all natural and tasty food, Farhad took us to a range of restaurants, and we tried all sorts of local cuisine. Not expensive, a bottle of wine 25 - 30 manat in the restaurants. A 2 course meal about 15 - 25 manat pp, fast food about 10 manat pp. (in May 2024 1 manat = 0.54 euros).

Loved every bit of the trip. The organization by Ertunc was great. And I had a lot of strange and changing request as I'm someone who looks for weird things. Some of my requests were also very last minute. But everything worked out. If I may suggest something to potential customers: when you go to Sheki ask Ertunc to book a room in the Karavansaray. If you don't expect a five star hotel standard, staying there will be the most memorable experience. Also take a plunge in crude oil in Naftalan. Ertunc and his people will make everything happen. Can't give less than 5 out of 5 for this company.
