It felt like time traveling to Rembrandt's tiime - to stand where he lived and worked despite the fact that most of the contents of the home were not original.

Content of the museum was excellently curated, but the implementation of the audio tour has a lot to be desired. If you’re going to have an audio guide with numerous different languages, there should at least be a number on the outside of each room that corresponds with the audio guide tour. It was difficult to know which room we were in at times because it wasn’t obvious and since you couldn’t backtrack easily downstairs, you were pretty much stuck with just continuing on.

It’s a lovely tour. Learned so much about his process and teaching. Some of his original sketches are on display as well.

Fascinating and informative. Audio guide essential. . Lots of stairs. Allow at least 2 hours at least.
