You’ll follow Rembrandt’s life story, from his arrival as an ambitious celebrity artist, to his forced departure due to an accumulation of debts. Furthermore, there are daily etching and painting demonstrations in the museum. In the exact place where Rembrandt created his masterpieces, in his studio, you’ll discover how he made his paint. In the new etching attic, you’ll learn more about Rembrandt’s etching techniques. It’s like looking over the artist’s shoulder.

5.00Amazing to see where Rembrandt painted in his studio! The stairs in this house are steep and narrow so fitness is necessary. Rembrandt’s student Samuel van Hoogstraten was every bit as amazing and beautiful!

5.00The Rembrandt House was great. The guided audio tour told us so much about Rembrandt’s life. It was wonderful going into the rooms of his house while listening to the information.
Just go through the venue this was a rip off!

1.00When I arrived they scanned my ticket and it wouldn’t go through. Pulled up my email confirmation and that would not go through either. They stated they couldn’t take the confirmation code, they had to scan. I had to pay for it TWICE!

5.00I just loved touring Rembrandt‘s house. They did such a good job the way they guided people through the rooms and the audio was done very well. I especially liked the demonstration of how prints were made from copper plates. You should definitely not miss this tour if you are going to Amsterdam. It makes Rembrandt come alive.
