Rescue P.A.W.S. is a not-for-profit organization working closely with the local community to reduce the number of stray animals in our region. We provide sterilization, medical treatment, and rehabilitation to stray animals and pets from low-income areas.
Our day visit program gives you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while spending meaningful time with our rescued animals. It’s an unforgettable interaction — and you may even find yourself leaving with adoption papers in hand.
Your day includes a drive through the back roads of Pranburi, passing lush pineapple fields and quiet rural scenery, with time spent at our new purpose-built clinic. You’ll also join our team and dogs on peaceful countryside walks, giving you a real feel for life beyond the tourist trail — and a chance to see our dogs at their happiest.

This tour was the highlight of my holidays in Hua Hin. It was such an amazing experience where I could see the tremendous work done by the rescue team, vet and volunteers to help save and rehab stray dogs and cats. Incredible and wonderful people! If you are in Hua Hin for holidays, please come and support the team and these wonderful cuties 🐾 🐶🐱 and bring some treats with you 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 💕

13/10 and 5 GOLD STARS! If you love animals, especially dogs, this is an absolutely positive, heart warming and of course a little bit heart wrenching... yet life changing experience. The 5 years work that Luke, Dr Cookie, the medical team, dog catchers, and educators do is fundamentally paramount in improving the lives of many community, stray, street and temple dogs. As a buddhist country, culling is not an option so there are millions of stray dogs that don't have a voice and need loving help! Education and sterilisation to reduce the puppy numbers within the street packs is at the absolute core to change the situation. Many dogs that are injured or subject to cruelty or a very hard life are also rescued by P.A.W.S and given a second chance... literally nursed back to life whether this takes weeks or months. By visiting the care facility, all the money goes towards the above objective. You will meet all the dogs in care, take them for a walk, obtain a firm understanding of what happens at P.A.W.S. The absolute highlight is going out in the van on the mid afternoon feeding run, where you can help feed a number of dog packs. Their gratefulness, joy and happiness in hearing the toot of the van, brings tears to your eyes. Make sure you buy little sausages or bring wet food as they absolutely love it. Some are very friendly and gentle and others are very timid and shy. The backbone of this operation are the many wonderful dog loving volunteers from all around the world that come and pay and stay from 1-12 weeks to help, ensuring the above can be achieved. They were completely welcoming, passionate, caring and loved sharing all the stories of the dogs... their babies. Many were on their 2nd, 3rd or 4th time in helping. It is such a shame Australia is an impossible adoption situation as Rich and I would have taken Chocolate Chip and Lucy back with us! We will definitely be back and probably long term!

Fabulous day at the Rescue P.A.W.S centre with the Rescue P.A.W.S. team ( inspiring , dedicated, people who took time out of their busy day to explain the aims and work of the centre and show us around ) and volunteers - all lovely people too . The amazing work they do here really makes a difference to the dogs and cats in and around Hua Hin and it was humbling to be part of it for one day , meeting the dogs and cats , walking the dogs at the centre and feeding the street dogs . Would love to go back and volunteer .It was both educational and fun . For anyone who loves and wants to help animals , if you do nothing else while staying in the area take a day and support this extremely worthwhile cause by visiting ( or volunteering if you have longer ) , you’ll come away admiring the resilience of the animals , the passion and dedication of the staff , and being so glad you took the time .

A hands on experience with the staff and volunteers at P.A.W.S. They recently moved to a new location, which meant we didn’t do a beach walk but that was o.k. They were very good at communicating the changes and the new location is much better for the animals. After a tour of the clinic we took some lovely dogs for a walk, had lunch with some amazing staff and volunteers, and then rode out to several locations for the feeding run. Would highly recommend if you are looking for something to do that promotes positive animal welfare.

We booked this trip 6mths ago and had been really looking forward to spending a day of our holiday doing something really worthwhile. Sadly, despite having received confirmation at the time and having only just paid the balance a week ago, no one arrived to collect us from our hotel on the day of the tour and we sat waiting in reception for an hour, before giving up and contacting both Rescue Paws and Viator. To give them credit, Rescue Paws replied fairly promptly and offered us a full refund, and the reason given (their relocation to new premises this week) was genuine. However, as someone who has spent my working life in animal welfare and totally understands the importance of good customer service, a quick email, WhatsApp or message via my Viator account would have been greatly appreciated, even if it had been late last night or early this morning. Every holiday, I carefully research and select an animal charity in the country I am visiting, to spend time at and then support and promote back home afterwards and whilst I totally understand that plans can change, I'm bitterly disappointed in the lack of communication and wasted morning of our precious holiday, when we could have arranged a different day out if we'd known.

I had an amazing time visiting Rescue P.A.W.S in Hua Hin! The staff and volunteers are so passionate and dedicated to helping the dogs, and you can truly feel the love and care they provide. The experience was both fun and educational — I got to interact with the dogs, learn about their rescue efforts, and see firsthand the positive impact they’re making in the community. If you love animals or want to do something meaningful during your trip, I highly recommend spending a day here. It’s not just a great activity but also a wonderful way to support a truly inspiring cause.

It was a wonderful day and I felt very lucky to see first hand the wonderful work this charity does. It educated me about the dog population of Thailand and I also got to interact with the wonderful dogs and cats of the centre. I will always remember fudge (who has no hind legs but a big personality) running on the beach with such joy and enthusiasm and Trevi the lovely pup who got adopted to England and bunrod, who had just had an amputation but was being comforted by a lovely English guy to help him heal. I met wonderful volunteers who reminded me that being a tourist could be rewarding and not just self-centred. And Luke the manager was so kind and focussed on the mission. Finally, I was educated on the dog packs and street dogs and saw the healthy and happy doggos of the packs they help each day. And I fell in love with Luna - a beautiful girl who I know will be ok because of rescue paws. Thank you!

It was heartwarming and inspiring to spend the day at Rescue Paws. As a day visitor you get to see the impact they have by their sterilization program which makes a significant dent in the over population, and therefore, potential suffering of animals on the street. We joined the regular volunteer teams, walking the shelter dogs on the beach and then we went out into the back streets, alleys and coconut glades of HuaHin to feed the strays. It was one of the most beautiful experiences, seeing their happy faces and wagging tales when we came with our truck laden with food and water. I would highly recommend visiting this organization and supporting them, they do great work.
