This walking tour was awesome! We did have to reroute due to a peaceful protest that was being taken place. It’s absolutely wonderful to see the first amendment in action. (Whether I agree or disagree agree with the protesters, doesn’t matter. What matters is that they were exercising their first amendment right). Vince, would share his knowledge with us about the deep wonderful history of Pennsylvania. He also would ask if we had any questions. Making it a complete experience! There was so much I didn’t know. I’m extremely grateful to have gone on this tour.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He shared in-depth information and background stories about American history and our founding fathers with interesting anecdotes about them and their characters. He also described the development of the area and of the historical buildings.

Although tour has a lot of historic facts it may not be good for younger kids. The tour should be condensed to 1 hour only since their are very limited historic sites walked by

Vince was an amazing tour guide! He was brilliant! And he toured with us for 2.5 hours in the rain! We learned more from him than in 15 years of school!

Our guide, Bill, was outstanding. Very knowledgeable with lots of stories and historical facts that I’m guessing you wouldn’t get on other tours. He kept the tour interesting with his vast knowledge. Philadelphia’s best guide, hands down! Thank you for a great experience! It was well worth the 2 hours and $30.
