The Ride In team consists of lifelong dedicated competitive and soul surfers local to Costa Rica. Our goal is to share our deep love for surfing, the ocean, and our sense adventure with you.
Through our lessons and tours, we aim to not only improve our clients' surfing skills, but also connect them with the local surf culture and community by creating a welcoming and inclusive community of surfers, and promoting sustainability and respect for the ocean in all that we do.
We believe that surfing has the power to bring people together and to inspire a sense of adventure and appreciation for the natural world. Pura Vida!

What To Expect
All levels and ages are welcome! Our Surf School specializes in teaching technical skills that will go beyond catching your first wave. We will work with you based on your skills and goals, but the fun is guaranteed! The Surf lesson is 1 hour and 30 minutes including a safety introduction to the ocean and equipment. We will take a break as needed for hydration, rest, and feedback. Here's what you will learn: the basics and fundamentals of surfing such as safety, popping up, and riding a wave. The more comfortable and confident you become, we will teach you more techniques, paddling over, through and under the wave, sitting on and turning your surf board, the difference between white water waves and open face waves. We strive to create a fun, welcoming, and safe environment for all of our clients, whether you are an experienced surfers or it's your first time. Some travelers enjoy a one day experience and others work with us over an extended time. Are you ready to feel the rush of riding your first wave? *We are experienced surf instructors who are CPR and First Aid certified by the International Life Saving & International Surfing Association.

5.00Con Anthony vas a surfear aunque sea tu primera vez como yo! Un excelente maestro e increíble persona! La experiencia de surf en sí es increíble, pero no hubiera sido lo mismo sin Anthony y su escuela! Incluso la gente alrededor me decía que Anthony es el mejor. 🏄🏾♂️ With Anthony you will definitely surf even if it's your first time! Such a great guy and amazing coach, surfing is an awesome experience itself, however Anthony take this to the next level, best school in Jacó even people around told me Anthony was the best.🤙🏾

5.00They use ancient Sicilian wheat flour is reassuring for me since I am diabetic and I believe that this type of flour does not raise blood sugar. Their bread with crazy crumbly sourdough, fragrant, tasty, all their pizzas are as good as bread, crumbly, fragrant, tasty. The croissants, light, without that strong butter flavor, delicious, their volcanoes, of all kinds but I prefer the one with the stracchino, wonderful, spatial. I forgot the focaccia, I'm not talking about it go there and taste them..... That's it..... Actually, no. I stopped to chat with Kevin and Sofia, he the son of the ‘master baker’ she his beautiful and expansive girlfriend, really nice people.

5.00For my birthday I got this private surf lesson. It was great. Anthony is good teacher. For me it was years ago that I ever surfed and then it didn't go that well. Starting out on the beach to get the basics explained and practiced and then we went into the waves. It took a bit but eventually it went quite well. Even more important it was buckets of fun!! Great place, great location, good equipment (which we could even use when the lesson was over!), excellent tutor! Thanks Anthony!

5.00My name is Matteo and am from Italy, i recently went to Costa Rica and got few lessons with Anthony in jaco, it was my second time surfing after a long time. Anthony and the rest of RideIn surf were superb. Lessons with Anthony went well, he was patient with me, he taught me the basics of surfing on the beach then we practiced in the water and I was able to take many waves with him then alone under his supervision. I totally recommend RideIn surf for lessons and surf camps.
I know how to surf now!!!
