Each canoe that you use will have 2 or 3 people to it, and will follow the 15km course that has been set up. It will test your skill and show who has the best sense of adventure. The waters are calm and peaceful, meaning that you can enjoy the journey and not worry about having to battle the elements. This activity is available from May to September and in order to book, there has to be at least 8 of you. There will be an English speaking guide who will take you to and from the location. As you would expect, safety is vitally important and all the equipment you need will be provided. Just sit back and enjoy.

What To Expect

Time spent on the river brings forward the feeling of quiet days and a gentle ride. When you are in Riga you are able to experience this with your friends and not only get to enjoy the feeling of canoeing, but also see some of the beautiful scenery. It can be a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the City and while that is what many people come for, the 4 hours spent away from it are extremely enjoyable.
