We start our trip from Kalantos leaving behind the gold sand, heading East to Rina’s cave. We paddle in a relaxed pace exploring the interesting geology of the area, the pure Cycladic scenery and the turquoise water. Along the way we stop off at small beaches ideal for swimming, snorkeling and cliff jumping away from the crowds, and enjoy the personalized attention of the guide on a small-group tour.
Duration of Kalantos Sea Kayak Day Trip is approximately six-hours hours, two and a half -three hours of total paddling and another three and a half - four hours on the beaches, swimming, snorkeling and having snacks, lunch and coffee.
Later in the evening, full of nice pictures we return to our starting point for a last swim!

What To Expect
Kalantos Beach is our starting and ending point.
Rhina Cave lies close to a pristine bay with crystal-clear azure waters. It is located in the area of Kalandos, in the southern part of Naxos. The cave is home to bird nests, while the adjacent spring offers refreshing water. Its roof features stalactites, which birds and bats use as shelter.

5.00We had booked a 5 day expedition to the Small Cycladic Islands, but the wind/weather had other plans and the trip needed to be cancelled. Manolis and Christina were very accommodating and communicative. The truly cared about getting us on the water. We were able to do a day trip between weather systems and it was a highlight. We went along the southern coast to the Rina Cave. Due to the time of year and adverse weather, we were the only ones there. We had a yummy homemade lunch and learned about the history of the area. Manolis was an excellent guide. We felt safe and well taken care of. He even took a bunch of photos that were shared with us after the trip. We would highly recommend this company. 😊

5.00My friends and I had a such a wonderful time with our guides, Manolis and Christina. I’ve never kayaked before but Manolis took the time to make sure we learned the basics and we were able to kayak without too much effort. Manolis was very kind and had fun stories to share. The picnic on the shores was one of the best parts as we got to know our other tour members and enjoyed a nice meal. We would highly recommend!

5.00The trip far outdid my expectations! Manolis was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had had hip surgery recently but he made it so easy for me to get in and out of the kayak and was always there to give me a hand.The scenery was beautiful and we had ample time to rest between paddling with stops for a snack, snorkeling and a fabulous lunch which Manolo prepared on the spot. I highly recommend this tour!

5.00This was the highlight of our 3 weeks in Greece! Our guide Manolis was amazing. He and his co-guide were very well organized and made us feel comfortable right from the beginning. We were provided sun shirts and hats which I didn't think were necessary at first but was SO happy to have them as we got going on the water. They also provided 1.5L of water for each person, and water shoes. Before we got on the water we were giving great instructions on how to properly row, ensuring we didn't wear ourselves out unneccessarily. Due to the weather (westerly winds) we had to take a route that is not typically taken, but Manolis was still extremely knowledgeable about the area and provided great context to the land and history of the area. We took breaks out on the water which was nice to recover for a bit and then were provided a great little lunch mid-trip. They prepared a fresh greek salad, had fresh bread, salami, olives, and cheese. It was all super delicious. Then finished it off with traditional greek coffee. Then a quick paddle back to our starting point to finish out the day. Manolis also took tons of pictures throughout the day and we were provided a download link a few days later. I can't recommend this excursion enough! Do it.

5.00I would hugly recommend this experience with Christina, Manolis and Padolis. They are very helpful and insightful, friendly and good fun. The trip captures amazing views and scenery. The guides provide everything you need for the paddle tour itself, but also a delicious fresh picnic. Paddling, snorkeling and swimming these beautiful clear turquoise waters is a must on your trip to Naxos !

5.00Sea Kayak Naxos takes pride in everything they do, and they have a lot to be proud of! All the good reviews don't lie- this tour was the highlight of a wonderful trip. Kayaking on the Aegean in a small group, venturing through sea caves and snorkeling in crystal blue waters, then finishing with a delicious picnic on the beach was like something out of movie. Our guides Manolis and Padelis, as well as Christina who picked us up, thought of every detail to make our trip enjoyable, providing dry bags, hats etc., and even making sure we got breakfast since it was a holiday and many businesses were closed. I also credit their deep knowledge of this coastline with how special the tour was. Everything we learned about the history, geography, and biodiversity of this beautiful place only enhanced our enjoyment. Our route also had to be changed due to weather, and I can assure you that if that happens, you can trust them to deliver an unforgettable experience.

5.00Another great tour with Manolis and nice fellow paddlers. Not too difficult, and only a slight headwind on the way there. The picnic lunch was perfect, with the best tomatoes ever. Efcharisto, Manoli!
