Ideal for nature lovers and for a total change of scenery, just 30 kilometers from the capital Asunción.
You will be able to observe superb landscapes, a large quantity of birds, as well as other animals according to your luck.
You can walk the paths along the river, in the shade of tall trees, and visit the property of Olivares, located at the mouth of the Manduvira on the Paraguay River.
We also take advantage of the unique sunsets that we can observe from the river, to end the day.
You will also enjoy quality meals prepared by us throughout the day.

What To Expect
Paraguay
Discovery of the Paraguay River and its tributaries. Boat trip in very wild and preserved places. Observations of fauna and flora throughout the day.
Arroyos y Esteros
Visit of the property of Olivares located at the confluence between the Paraguay River and the Manduvira. Walk in the woods to observe wildlife and visit the church of Olivares (1862). Meals at the water's edge, homemade French cuisine. With beers and soft drinks available.

5.00This tour was epic. Guillaume (fluent in English, Spanish, and French) gives you a whole day exploring this river, with all its colourful and impressive birdlike, visiting some ranches, but otherwise enjoying the solitude of this tranquil river. Lunch was authentically Paraguayan and delicious. And the howler monkeys were a great bonus. This tour is a no trainer for visitors to Paraguay. Merci Guillaume!

5.00An incredible experience in Paraguayan nature in the heart of biodiversity, cultural landscapes and local hospitality. Guillaume is an excellent guide (Francophone but not that) who knows how to share his passion for Paraguay during a getaway on the Rio Paraguay to observe many birds and screaming monkeys. Everything was perfectly organized and shared. Not to be missed!

5.00Guillerme was great!!!! His knowledge of birds and animals is up there and he caters very good to people trying to get pictures of these animals. He keeps his boat very clean and the lunch and the added afternoon snack with coffee was an added experience. He helps out as much as he can and even changed the booking as it rained the day I booked it. A very accommodating person and very fun to talk to.

5.00Beautiful activity, very relaxing and close to nature. We were able to observe many birds and monkeys in their natural habitat. The duration of the activity is quite long, from morning to evening, with many stops. In addition, all the food is homemade and we enjoyed an incredible sunset by the river.
