The Class 2-3 whitewater run passes through the region’s natural topography, abundant watersheds, and incredible biological and wildlife diversity, offering a high-adrenaline and heart-pumping ride down the wild river of Panama.

What To Expect
Boquete
Enjoy a whitewater rafting day of adventure after meeting at the office at 7:45am to get properly prepared and briefed. The brief safety demonstration will highlight proper paddling techniques, review guide commands such as "forward" "back" and "stop," and give tips of how best to stay in the raft The journey through the jungle will start with some excellent high-volume first rapids to get the heart racing. The day will pause around noon for a buffet lunch riverside when the guides cut up fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as provide assemble-your-own sandwiches with the best local ingredients. All personal dietary restrictions can be easily accommodated. Once the fresh food has settled and break time is finished, you will load back into the rafts to continue the day's excitement. At approximately 2pm, after around 8.5 miles (14 km) the trip will finish up at the take-out with beers and sodas to the guides. Your vehicle will be waiting to return you to Boquete around 3:30pm.

5.00This was a fantastic trip. Long ride but so worth it. Our driver. Ed started things off by pointing out landmarks on the trip and made it interesting. Then we got to the river. Our group had 3 boats with amazing guides. Teeny was our guide and kept us laughing and loving every single minute. The biggest comment I heard was -"awe, is it over????". We even got to stop inside Costa Rica on the way back. 2 countries for one price. Oh I almost forgot lunch. Tons of food and so very good. Fresh sweet pineapple, empanadas. Yeah baby. I would wholeheartedly recommend this trip.

5.00Unbelievable experience! So fun! Our guide, Teeny, was phenomenal. He was enthusiastic about birds and nature, capable in guiding the team and raft and he was, above all, safety conscious. The rapids were exciting and the setting was second to none. Highly recommended!

5.00Fabulous day whitewater rafting! River was class 2/3 with water levels and made for a lot of fun. Scenery, guides, shore lunch all very good. We have whitewater several times before and would suggest this time of year for people with some experience or new to whitewater rafting. Would recommend BOA and book again.

5.00This rafting trip is excellent. The guides are very knowledgeable and extremely skilled. They could maneuver the rafts over the shallows and keep us in the biggest waves with ease. They were very entertaining and had great knowledge and enthusiasm for all of the birds we saw along our trip. They also took many pictures which we could download so we would have great memories of the trip. The company is well run and very organized. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

4.00Our experience was fantastic because of our guide Teeny Tim. He went above and beyond to make our experience fun. One of the kids on the boat fell off the raft and Tim had the best reflexes pulling him back into the boat. At all times, he talked to us about the wild life, history and we felt like we were a bunch of kids in the Trolls movie, who had to do hi-fi every few minutes. It was an incredible team bonding experience and Teeny was responsible for all of it. The person who picked us up Eduardo was extremely condescending. There are no rest rooms and all the ladies were asked to pee in the same place behind a tarp. There were no towels provided and none of this was communicated to us.

5.00We had such fun on our recent white water rafting adventure! From pickup to drop back off in David, our trip was well-organized. We had great instructions prior to donning our equipment and hitting the river in a group of six rafts. Our family of five (me the 71-year-old grandmother, with my son, daughter-in-law, and grandsons 11 and 13) had our own raft with a great guide. Our two and a half hours on the river were action-packed with heart-stopping white water and knowledgeable guides who made every step safe and fun. The shore lunch was yummy and filling. This was a huge highlight of our two week Panama trip! Highly recommend Boquete Outdoor Adventures.
