The Class 2-3 whitewater run passes through the region’s natural topography, abundant watersheds, and incredible biological and wildlife diversity, offering a high-adrenaline and heart-pumping ride down the wild river of Panama.

What To Expect
Boquete
Enjoy a whitewater rafting day of adventure after meeting at the office at 8am to get properly prepared and briefed. The brief safety demonstration will highlight proper paddling techniques, review guide commands such as "forward" "back" and "stop," and give tips of how best to stay in the raft The journey through the jungle will start with some excellent high-volume first rapids to get the heart racing. The day will pause around noon for a buffet lunch riverside when the guides will cut up fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as provide assemble-your-own sandwiches with the best local ingredients. All personal dietary restrictions can be easily accommodated. Once the fresh food has settled and break time is finished, you will load back into the rafts to continue the day's excitement. At approximately 2pm, after around 8.5 miles (14 km) the trip will finish up at the take-out with beers and sodas to the guides. Your vehicle will be waiting to return you to Boquete around 3:30pm.

5.00We had such fun on our recent white water rafting adventure! From pickup to drop back off in David, our trip was well-organized. We had great instructions prior to donning our equipment and hitting the river in a group of six rafts. Our family of five (me the 71-year-old grandmother, with my son, daughter-in-law, and grandsons 11 and 13) had our own raft with a great guide. Our two and a half hours on the river were action-packed with heart-stopping white water and knowledgeable guides who made every step safe and fun. The shore lunch was yummy and filling. This was a huge highlight of our two week Panama trip! Highly recommend Boquete Outdoor Adventures.

5.00We had a really fun time, my 7 and 8 year old kids loved it. It’s almost a 2 hour ride to get to the river but it felt worth it. The tour guides were great and it’s well organized.

5.00Highly recommended! Very well organized; We forgot our passports (please remember, as you will cross into Costa Rica), and Ed (driver) offered us a lift back to hotel to grab them. Ed also returned us back after trip as we waited for an Uber! Our river guide Teeni was outgoing and fun, with clear safety instructions. Get ready to get tossed! Teeni was well versed in the flora and fauna of the river and knew each crevice and turn. Lunch was great, with fruit and empanadas and time to chat with other adventurers. Our family made great memories on this excursion!

5.00One of THE BEST rafting trips I have ever been on. Knowiedgeable guide (Chebo) pointed out things along the way (saw squirrel monkeys twice and a boa hanging out in a tree, plus lots of birds). The rafting was challenging but in a good way. There was never too much time of having to paddle to the next rapids. Great lunch. Highly recommend. Love that they take pictures and you can retrieve them for free.
