Experience the Ultimate Adventure at River Rapids Jamaica in Trelawny!
Your tour starts as you meet your friendly tour guide at check in. Following check in you get geared up and follow your River guide on short walk along the river bank until you approach a beautiful area showcasing an oasis of natural waterfalls, swimming pools, and rock formations. After exploring the waterfalls its time to get into your river tube and start your exciting journey downstream.
While floating down the Rio Bueno you will encounter a fun mix of river rapids and calming currents as you travel through the jungle setting of the River Valley. Along the trip there is a chill out spot for you to jump from a platform into the Lagoon. As the river currents fade you jump into a raft for some paddling fun into the the Caribbean Sea towards Bengal Beach, a small private beach where you can relax, take a dip in the warm ocean water, and enjoy some refreshments at the beach bar.

What To Expect
Enjoy an exciting tubing adventure down the scenic Rio Bueno, a river in Jamaica. After pickup from your hotel, you’ll receive a brief overview and safety training before taking a short walk through the lush rainforest over the Irie Bridge to the launching spot. Then, jump in the water and make your way downstream! Float along the winding Rio Bueno and enjoy the twists and turns of the river. Stop for a break under bamboo trees, where you’ll have the chance to relax on the river bed, swim in the cool waters or try out the rope swing. Get back in your tube and travel over some more rushing rapids as you pass under an old stone bridge towards the Caribbean Sea. When you reach the river delta, paddle over a few small waves to get to the white-sand shores of Bengal Bay. Lounge in the sun, swim in the sea and admire the tropical landscape before heading back to your hotel. Please note: this tour cannot accept Royal Caribbean cruise ship passengers

5.00The rapids was so much fun. It’s a good mix of rapids but calm water too and it was very relaxing. There is a tour guide that goes with you to make sure you are safe as you go down the river. Our driver Akim was very nice and made sure we were comfortable on our ride to and from the rapids. Overall a very fun experience.
Mixed - loved the tubing and river, but no happy unadvertised stops at souvenir and food places

3.00So if I could split this review in half I would. First I want to say that the actual rapids and tubing on the river was fantastic. The two guides were brilliant and it was an amazing experience. What has dropped the overall rating though is the delays in getting there with almost an hour of stuffing around collecting the group of 4 women after we were picked up. This resulted in us getting to the river late and is probably the reason we then had no time at the beach. But even more annoying was then being taken to a souvenir shop and a lunch stop that my daughter could not eat at. Neither of these were on any itinerary and added close to an hour and half to our day because we had to wait for the others to get food and then had to drive back with them all eating around us. I specifically picked a tour that did not include lunch so I am quite irritated that we were taken to one anyway. What was advertised as approx 3 hours ended up being almost a full day with a pick up at 9am and not being dropped back until after 3pm. So as I said couldn't compliment the guides and the actual river and tubing enough - that part was awesome. But if I had known about all the rest I might have organised my own transport so we didn't have so much of our day wasted.

4.00The tubing was great, the tour guides were wonderful. Our driver was ehh. The title of this excursion is misleading because there is no waterfall throughout this adventure. TBH, I probably wouldn’t have booked it to begin with if I had known there wouldn’t be a waterfall, so that was disappointing. But the tuning itself was a good time!

5.00A Blast!!! Highly recommend! The rapids are tame (Colorado natives) However, Andre our guide beats any guide CO has by 3000! He was AMAZING! Bonus, we saw a blue crab!! Our driver was safe and chill and very friendly!! Can’t say enough good things about this activity!!! Would do again and AGAIN!
