Travis was great! We saw black sand, red sand, too many waterfalls to count, turtles, Hawaiian mountain lions, learned about the culture and history of the island. They picked us up right at the cruise ship. Free Drinks on board. Random snack stops throughout the day. The bus was clean and huge windows to make you feel part of the environment and access to great pictures throughout the drive. Highly recommend. Thank you Travis!

Our Toad to Hana tour with Valley Isle Excursions was fantastic! Uncle Joe was the perfect tour guide, not only extremely knowledgable, but thoughtful and kind. He made the tour interesting, educational, and personal. Definitely worth every dime.

We booked the Road to Hana excursion through Valley Isle Excursions. It was one of the best highlights if our trip. I found them easy to book, responsible and timely with communications and just an overall wonderful experience. Part of what made it so special was our driver Travis. I can’t believe he learned all our names so quickly - he’d call us by name letting us know to look out the window at scenic views! He told stories, involved our group and provided a rich and in-depth historical account related to the area and Hawaiian islands! He made our trip SO memorable!!!!

Our Road to Hana tour was operated by Travis a tour guide local to Hana and seemingly related to many of the residents. He was also near the front of the queue when character was being handed out. Travis is a careful driver (necessary for the twisty roads involved) and did his best to teach us as much of the Hawaiian language as possible as we went along. He also made us sing "waterfall" whenever we passed by one - which was regularly. There were fantastic seascapes, tasty banana bread and a black sand beach in a national park. Not to mention the oodles of waterfalls one of which there was the option to swim by and under. The tour group consisted of ten people which made it easier to get to know the other people on the bus. Breakfast and lunch were both included in the tour price and were both worth having. With food included on other tours, you sometimes need to break out the Pringles - but not with this tour. On the way back we made an additional stop at a beach where there were around 70 or 80 turtles - quite a sight and totally unexpected. Overall, an excellent tour and well worth the price.

My wife and I truly enjoyed the road to Hana tour. We especially appreciated our driver and tour guide, Travis. He gave us so much interesting information. Pointed out every item of interest on the tour and had a group of 9 adults singing as we passed every waterfall on the road:) Having such an experienced and knowledgeable driver was invaluable. Excellent tour guide, Travis, who was very knowledgeable, funny, & very considerate for us of sites we wanted to see along the road. Continental breakfast & Lunch were great & the size of the coach with only 12 people made the trip more comfortable. Being picked up at our condo is definitely a plus.

Amazing excursion to Hana! Our guide Travis was the best!! He was hilarious and kept us laughing, while teaching us Hawaiian culture history, and language! We stopped for yummy banana bread, swam at Black Sands Beach and a waterfall! We even got to see sea turtles and surfers riding the waves! If you like to sing, or even if you don't, go on this tour because you sing "waterfalls" at each waterfall, no matter how tall or small the waterfalls are!! Very memorable day!!!
