We had a great day with Uncle Joe traveling the Road to Hana. The continental breakfast at the Maui Tropical Plantation hit the spot. Uncle Joe did an incredible job handling the twists and curves on the trip while explaining the vegetation and sights and entertaining us with stories about Maui. Lunch included Huli Huli chicken. On the way back we stopped off at a state park to visit a black sand beach and waterfalls where we swam. Uncle Joe also took us to a beach to see massive green sea turtles and surfers. Thank you for a delightful day.

Derek was a great driver and tour guide! Even tho it was only his 5th tour he had done, he was a natural! He showed us all the great gems in and around the road to Hana. He's a long time resident of Maui so he was so knowledgeable about everything! He made us feel like family. He even sang for us!😁

We had a long but wonderful day exploring to the eastern side of Maui. It is a beautiful trip through lush lands gorgeous beaches waterfalls and giant turtles. Jason was a terrific driver on that crazy road and provided plenty of information about the vegetation, animals and history of the area. I highly recommend the trip and be sure to ask if Jason is available.

Definitely A MUST DO! If you love waterfalls, scenic views of the ocean and rainforest with hidden gems along the way, then THIS MAY BE THE EXCURSION FOR YOU! My husband and I took our 8 yr old grandson on this trip and he loved every minute of it, as did we. Great breakfast and lunch with lots of stops along the way. Our tour guide, Spencer, made us feel like "Ohana", family, and his storytelling was so interesting and by the end of the trip you could feel a connection with the Hawaiian culture.

We attended the Road to Hana tour this week and it was an amazing experience. Our guide was Paula she was AWESOME, knowledgeable and safe. It was a full day of adventures and memorable photos. The lunch was great (and I’m a picky eater). Choose the huli huli chicken and you will not be disappointed or hungry later! We learned so much about Hawaiian history, culture and how the fires impacted Maui. I truly believe we had the best photo opportunities and at the end of the day, we saw green sea turtles at Ho’okipa Beach Park. It’s well worth the money-trust me- you do NOT want to drive this route yourself and you cheat yourself if you don’t get the Hawaiian history shared by your guides.

We had the best experience with this family owned company. We came to Maui to make memories and have a wonderful family experience and that is exactly what happened when we choose Valley Isle Excursion’s Road to Hana Tour. Our tour guide was Spencer and he was awesome. He gave us so much wonderful information of the island and also provided personal experiences. He was very personable and had a great sense of humor which made for a great time. He made us feel like we were part of his Ohana. We had a great group of people on the tour with us, as well. We would definitely use this company again.

Our tour The Road to Hana and our guide, Spencer, was excellent! Spencer made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. He has a great personality, fun and friendly! He kept us laughing all day long! He has a great knowledge of the island and its history as well. The shaved ice at the Halfway to Hana stand is a MUST! I love supporting a local company and guide. You won’t regret booking with Valley Isle and you’d be lucky if you get Spencer!

We just finished our second “Road to Hana” tour (3 years apart) with Valley Isle Excursions. What an incredible day we had along with the 10 other people on our tour plus Justin our amazing tour guide! The bus/coach is the perfect way to see the most amazing sights of Maui with it’s large windows, comfortable seats and ac. Justin picked each of us up at our separate resorts early in the morning and we all began our day at the beautiful Maui Tropical Plantation with a continental breakfast and then off, we went to have a most enjoyable day! Justin was incredibly knowledgeable in all aspects of Maui history and many topics about life in Maui. His expert driving put us at ease as we passed gorgeous waterfalls, beaches and the wonderful plant life of Maui’s rainforest stopping frequently for photo ops (he took lots of pictures for our group), bathroom breaks, shopping and lunch (which was included). We have driven the road to Hana ourselves before finding Valley Isle Excursions and to be honest, this truly is the best way to enjoy the day. Leaving the driving to a professional means everyone in your party (including whoever would have been driving the hairpin turns in the rental car) gets to see and enjoy the sights and you can ask all the questions you want and hear so many stories and information that you never would have gotten otherwise. They know all the BEST places to stop and we never felt hurried. This is a full day outing that ended with a beach that had as many surfers catching waves as it did huge beached sea turtles (60+)! Book with Valley Isle Excursions. I promise you’ll be glad you did! Aloha!
