Excellent tour guide, Travis, who was very knowledgeable, funny, & very considerate for us of sites we wanted to see along the road. Continental breakfast & Lunch were great & the size of the coach with only 12 people made the trip more comfortable. Being picked up at our condo is definitely a plus.

Amazing excursion to Hana! Our guide Travis was the best!! He was hilarious and kept us laughing, while teaching us Hawaiian culture history, and language! We stopped for yummy banana bread, swam at Black Sands Beach and a waterfall! We even got to see sea turtles and surfers riding the waves! If you like to sing, or even if you don't, go on this tour because you sing "waterfalls" at each waterfall, no matter how tall or small the waterfalls are!! Very memorable day!!!

Had a wonderful time with Travis! He had us laughing and singing “waterfall”, taught us lots of Hawaiian words, history, and interesting facts about the sites along the way. We swam at the black sand beach and at a waterfall, and got to watch surfers and see turtles. I highly recommend this tour with Travis!!

The trip was all I hoped for, and more. Justin, our driver, was engaging, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the road to Hana - trees, animals, customs, history, and especially, every curve of the twisting road. As a bonus, the lunch they served was delicious huli-huli chicken. If you really want to get the maximum enjoyment of this trip, don't even think of driving yourself. Not only will you miss out on exactly what you're seeing (while nervously trying to negotiate the road), it will probably void your insurance coverage if you're driving a rental car. Instead, I would highly recommend taking this tour, especially if you're lucky enough to get Justin as your driver/guide.

We had a great guide (Paula). It is a long day but saw awesome sites, multiple coastline, beautiful foliage, black sand beach, ended the day watching surfers and saw a large group of sea turtles resting on the beach. Over packed with swine ware that no one in our group needed. Awesome experience

My husband, Joseph and I went on the Hana tour on February 4 with Uncle Joe and Tita Ada! Not only was the day gorgeous and full of incredible eye candy but Uncle Joe was so knowledgeable and indulged all of our questions and told great stories! He’s been driving the road to Hana for 26 years and if ever you want to learn about Hawaiian history, Hawaiian culture Hawaiian plant life, anything really… Be sure to book your tour with uncle Joe! Tita Aida was a breath of fresh air as well! Funny, friendly, took care of us, made sure we knew where to be, and when to get back in the van! We highly recommend using Valley Island excursions for any of your tours while you’re on Maui (this was the second time we’ve used them) and if you can… Ask for Uncle Joe and/or Tita Ada! Also, as a bonus… Zoe and Summer, who are the office workers were great as well! Tracie and Joseph

Ikaika Kukona, yes, you made us feel like family the entire trip in your magical tour bus! Hey Ikaika, we're glad we didn't have Larry! Meeting some of your family and the personal life journeys you shared along the way gave our family memories to last a lifetime. Thank you Ikaika Kukona yes!

We highly recommend this tour! Ask for Ikaika (aka Travis). He was so entertaining, knowledgeable. He made sure to prepare us for photo opportunities so we got loads of photos! It is so beautiful, the people are so friendly! When Ikaika makes a suggestion, you will not be disappointed!
