  Private guide met us outside the cruise ship area. It was about a ten minute walk. Very easy. He was so warm and friendly and drove us to our Zip line adventure and we interacted with sloths, macaws, deer, and although it was like a miniature zoo, the animals seemed well cared for. The ziplining was some of the best I've ever experienced! We got to do tricks! Guides were very well trained, fun and helpful. So much fun!!!! A tip is to bring a fanny pack so you can have your cell phone for photos and not lose it. I lost my baseball cap while hanging upside down and the guides went down to get it. Highly recommend this tour and our guide Bernie! He seemed like the unofficial Mayor of Mahogany Bay!

  My husband, brother, sister-in-law and I did this excursion in Roatan, Honduras this past week. We had Fabian as our driver and I have to tell you, it was the best time! It was pouring and we still had a great time. The ziplining was epic! 16 lines and 24 platforms later and we still can't stop talking about it. Then the sloths and monkeys, the chocolate factory (delicious!), and the rum factory. You will not regret booking this excursion.

  This was an excellent adventure. We had to ammend our time several yimes due to the Hurricane affecting our port times. The thour operator was very accomadating. We had 1 driver for the day for just the two of us. Michelle was excellent and knowledgeable about the island. She gave us more than enough time at each stop. I would highly recommend this tour operator and excursion.

  Was a great experience for those who did the zip line. Saw the monkeys and sloths and various other parrots and creatures. It rained a bit. Then the sun came back out, we had a nice lunch and then off to the zip line. The staff were very nice. A brief tour of the island, Jessica was a delight and very patient, made my day. We went to the Chocolate Factory and the Rum Factory. Nice place for a drink and a lovely view. Thank you so much for all your patience, as I’m sure it was tried. Lol Thank you Lashon for babysitting me online during the planning.

  This was my favorite excision we did. It beat out Atv, dolphins, deep sea fishing. It was amazing. Kessie was our tour guide and she was AMAZING. She was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and sweet. She was so good with my kids and she made this excursion even better. Zip lining with amazing and you can go tandem with your younger kiddos. It was amazing and my kiddos had the time of their life. My wife faced her fears and ended up LOVING the zip lines. The monkey sloth experience was amazing as well. If you want a good time, do this excursion, if you want a great time ask for Kessie to be your guide. If we ever go back to this island we will 100000 % do this excursion again.

  Great Experience! Hangel Collins is very nice, attentive, showed us the best places and very patient! 10/10 We explored so much in a day with him! Definitely recommend going with him !

  The excursion is good but you can do without visits to chocolate museum and rum factory. They're both just a tourist trap for selling you things at high prices. There is no educational side to the visits. The driver was great though and we enjoyed her knowledge of the area.

  The tour is actually provided by a local company called Roatan Breakaway Tours. We had to take a short walk outside the cruise terminal entrance where all the non-Carnival tours are located. Our representative was holding a sign with the company name so she was easy to find. There was another couple besides us for this tour. We each had a separate driver who used his personal car to take us on the tour. It took about 20 minutes to drive to our first stop at one of the largest zip line facilities on the island with 16 different lines. The zipline facility was operated by Jungle Top Zipline. After being fitted with our harness we joined several other people and took a short truck ride up the hill to the first line. We were not issued safety helmets or gloves as we have been with other zip line companies. Most of the runs were very short with the longest being 1,600 feet long. We did receive a safety briefing prior to starting. The lines had less tension than other zip lines we have done so there was more sway. We had to cross two foot bridges that looked a little suspect but functioned well. The staff were very friendly and did an excellent job. On the same property is a small zoo type facility where they rescue and raise capuchin monkeys, spider monkeys, deer, guinea pigs, agouti, scarlet macaws and a sloth. We went into the Capuchin monkey enclosure and got to feed and interact with the monkey. We were also able to pet the sloth and take photos with him. We had the macaws on our shoulders for photos, held the guinea pigs and fed the spider monkeys and deer. We spent about 30-45 minutes here. Our next stop was the chocolate factory where we tasted several types of chocolate that was for sale and then went across the parking lot to the local craft market. There was a building near here with a huge turtle statue on top that our driver told us he had helped to build as a student. Our last stop was the rum cake factory, that was a store selling rum products. We tasted several different types of rum, all of which were excellent. There also was a Roatan sign for photo opportunities. The total time of the tour was about four hours. This was a fun tour that I would recommend for anyone visiting Roatan.
