What To Expect
Robben Island Museum
Pickup from your hotel in Cape Town City Centre/ Sea Point/ Camps Bay hotels with a guide Guide drop guests off at Silo hotel walk up the steps see the red clocktower with Mandela Gateway on the right side of the Clocktower Security will do a bag check Proceed to follow the queue Show your ticket and ID to staff Board the boat for 30 minute ride to island At the island disembark and walk to the bus with a guide for a bus ride around the Island Then at the prison there is a Guided Walk around the prison by ex-prisoner Boat trip back to Mainland Enjoy the many shops and restaurants in the V&A Waterfront or return back to hotel. Please note: Robben Island tickets are not refundable or changeable. If boats are cancelled, we issue a refund less the transfer price and Viator's commission.

5.00What a thoroughly moving and inciteful tour , visiting the scene of recent shameful history. It was worth price of the tour, just have met Faz from ML Sultan Travel , she is incredible , a true force of nature. Nothing was too much trouble , she did everything she could to make the tour memorable ,which it was ! This included when she was off the clock, taking time to help us find the perfect restaurant for dinner .😊. Thank you Faz xx

5.00Faz was absolutely amazing. Our hotel concierge was unable to get us tickets for this tour. Faz leveraged her connections and got us FIVE tickets within less than 24 hours. Not only does she have the connections to make your experience top notch, but she is so friendly, warm and welcoming. She far exceeded our expectations. We learned a lot on the tour. It was very somber and an absolute don't miss. Don't be afraid to ask the tour guide questions. The surprise at the end was a highlight for us! You'd be wise to opt for that!!

5.00Faz and her son picked me up, told me all the information I needed to know, showed me around the jetty museum, took me to the boat, gave me snacks, then picked me up from the boat, took photos for me and returned me to my accommodation. They were both so lovely and knowledgeable. Thank you! Robben Island itself was an incredible experience. Having an ex political prisoner as a guide was a very informative and emotional experience, especially being shown his cell.

5.00I booked this tour to the Robin Island in the last minute. The booking status was "pending" since the tickets had been sold out for that day. After knowing this was my last day in Cape Town, Faziela (the guide) spent about an hour with the staff at the harbor and managed to get a ticket for me! She is such a nice lady and she understands and cares her customers. I recommend their tours to everyone visiting Cape Town.
